Location.

When I arrived I got sheets and bedsheets to carry to my room and a card for opening doors. The card did not work and I could not enter my room. When I finally did enter my room with help from the receptionist, I realized I was not given a pillow, but only a pillowcase. The bathroom looked dirty as well.

Good place to stay

Location was great, 20 min walk from the Brussels central station and around main tourist attractions. I stayed in the single room, it was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

was the cheapest private room at the time of booking but still overall expensive for its value

no soundproofing at all, you could hear everything next door even when they walk. no ventilation so rooms and especially bathrooms smell bad

Pleasant breakfast and comfortable beds

The staff were always very friendly, and the location allowed us to walk to the Grand-Place and surrounding areas. There is also a Carrefour Express 3 minutes' walk from the hostel.

Some details that the room is missing, such as more clothes hooks, hooks on the wall if you want to hang something up, there is nowhere to hang your towel in the bathroom while you shower, the shower does not have a full door, the toilet does not have a lid, and the bathroom door does not lock. This is more personal, but I find the lighting in the room to be very dim.

Overpriced, worst accomodation we've ever booked!

The breakfast room staff was friendly.

We’ve traveled to around 50 countries worldwide, and this accommodation was by far the worst. You pay nearly 100 Euros (~£85) a night, then they charge an extra 2 Euros per towel. Ridiculous! On arrival at 1 pm, we were told check-in was at 3 pm, which would be understandable if they were cleaning and preparing the room during that time. However, at 3 pm we were handed a pile of bed sheets and pillowcases and told to make our own beds. As shown in the attached photos, the mattresses were more suited for school gym classes, and the pillows were worn out and uncomfortable—definitely not ideal for your neck. The bathroom was smaller than those found in train sleeping carriages. There was no TV, and nothing about the accommodation justified the 100 Euros/night price. When I asked via email what justified the cost, their response was laughable: we were "in the heart of the capital of Europe." We come from the capital of UK, London, where you get true value for money. Or just a week ago, we stayed at a fully-equipped, quiet Holiday Inn in Germany for £52 a night, and THAT was value for money. Avoid this hostel at all costs!

The stay was overall decent.

The room had a sufficient space. The staff was quiet friendly and responding to the queries. The location was very well accessible via bus, tram etc. Overall feel of the hostel was well.

The kitchen facility in hostels is generally full equipped. But in this case, the facility just had basic facilities like water kettle and oven. No utensils were available in kitchen. Although the staff showed the readiness to open their pantry to lend some basic utensils for serving, but nothing was readily available. The bathroom was too small with the shower area smaller even for one person to hardly stand. They did not provide fruits for breakfast during one of the days which is generally available in most hostels.

It was located near the train station and had a grocery store closeby, so that was good. There was a fan available during the hot summer heat. The stay included a breakfast.

It was extremely hot, there was no air conditioning. The beds were quite uncomfortable. There was hair from the previous guest around the bathroom.

The location was great.

The room was dirty. The floor, chairs and the desk were full of dirt, crumbs and sand like nobody cleaned it for a very long time. The beds were very narrow and the entire bathroom was smaller than a wardrobe. The breakfast was very poor with not many options to choose.

Ofrecen desayuno buffet gratuito, lo cual se agradece. También tienen guarda equipajes gratuito, aunque sin candado en la taquilla. La habitación es bastante grande y hay un Carrefour justo al lado, muy práctico. Está a unos 20 minutos del centro.

El barrio es un poco raro. La habitación es bastante peculiar: te dan las sábanas para que prepares tú mismo la cama, el colchón es duro tipo colchoneta y las toallas no están incluidas (suplemento de 2 €). El baño es muy pequeño, de plástico y algo desagradable, parecido a los de los aviones, lo que contrasta con el tamaño de la habitación. En general, cumple como hostal juvenil, pero no me quedaría más de una noche.

Prima voor een nachtje

Handige locatie in de buurt van het station en het centrum. Leuk dat je er ook kunt poolen (gratis)

De kamers en het beddengoed waren helaas niet schoon. Alles zat vol met haren. We hadden ons beddengoed zelfs ingeruild omdat het zo vies was, maar helaas was het nieuwe beddengoed niet veel beter. Er zaten overal erg veel donkere haren in en ik heb rood haar, dus ik weet zeker dat het niet mijn eigen haar was. Ook in de douche lagen best veel haartjes. De vloer was ook totaal niet schoon (mijn sokken waren na 5 minuten al donkergrijs ipv wit) en de “matrassen” waren zo dun dat je de lattenbodem erdoorheen kon voelen. Prima voor een nachtje, maar we waren blij toen we vertrokken.

Buon rapporto qualità /prezzo. Minimal come prevedibile dal prezzo. Asciugamani a 2€ l'uno. Nel bagno c'era sapone e bagnoschiuma. Phon su richiesta in reception. Colazione ok. Camera calda. Zona tranquilla, per prendere il treno è vicina alla stazione nord che non è particolarmente sicura se da sole o se donne, nel caso consiglierei di prendere metro o tram lì vicino e andare alla stazione centrale.

Indépendant de l'auberge : manque de civilité de la part d'une passagère ne faisant qu'aller et venir jusqu'à 3h30 du matin pour se laver toutes les heures dans la chambre au lieu d'utiliser les sanitaires !

Nada más llegar, te dan un juego de sabanas para que te hagas tú la cama, que en este caso, venian con manchas y lamparones, el colchón es como una colchoneta de gimnasio, dura e incomoda. La habitacion cuanta con un solo radiador, que a pesar de abrirlo a tope, no llegaba a calentar la habitación. El baño es un baño como los portátiles de plástico, adaptado a la habitacion, con una ducha bastante pequeña. Las toallas de ducha se cobran a parte de la estancia, por un precio de 2 Euros por toalla. Además el Check-Out era hasta las 11:00 AM y a las 10:00 AM la señora de la limpieza abrió la habitación y entró en ella sin llamar, a las 10:15 AM la misma señora llamó a la puerta para decirnos que teniamos que abandonar ya la habitación. Por último, tienes que deshacer la cama y bajar las sábanas junto a las toallas a la planta baja para echarlas en un carro de ropa sucia.

Básico y económico, pero bien

Personal muy simpático y amable. Llegamos antes de la hora establecida para el checking, pero nos dieron una habitación que estaba ya limpia aunque no era la que teníamos asignada. Hay una fuente de agua gratis junto a recepción. El desayuno es básico, pero completo. Está a cinco minutos andando de la estación de metro. Una opción económica y recomendable.

El cuarto de baño es enano y la cama también es pequeña. Te tienes que hacer la cama y las toallas valen 2€ alquilarlas.
