Well positioned for visit to Lake Tittisee, best go early!

Very comfortable bed, nice 1st floor terrace to relax with a drink (bring your own). Bar fridge, modern bathroom with good shower. Good cold buffet breakfast with warm bread rolls. Tea, coffee and kettle in the room. We arrived late, so thank you Alana for leaving and labelling our key, she was also helpful with information. Free parking outside hotel. It was warm so had to leave window open, thank goodness for insect screen.

Very old timey

Location was close to Foldi clinic and downtown.

No elevator, have to carry your suitcase up multiple flights of stairs

Hotel not living up to previous experience.

Great location and access to the Foeldi clinic where many in the hotel attended a conference.

Breakfast starts at 8 am and we needed to be in the clinic by 8. The staff were not willing to budge on allowing us to access the breakfast earlier. I stayed at this hotel 15 years ago and the management at that time was much more accommodating and friendly. 15 years ago breakfast was available at 7.

Breakfast was nice. the Hotel bought gluten free bread for us that was very nice. Parking was free and available most of the time. The location is great.

The mattress need replacement I think. It was a bit inconvenient.

The breakfast was awesome. Also the staff was friendly and helpful. Room service is good. Train station is 8 min walk.

The size of room was bit small for us although we were just couple. Also the furnishings were old both in bedroom and bathroom. Would be great if it gets upgraded.

The location and view was great, only a few minutes walk from Hinterzarten station. The breakfast was just right and tasty - pretty standard but quite nice. The staff were welcoming and helpful (You're the man Ilya) & It's a great hiking spot

Lovely hotel in a lovely town, would definitely come back

Very cute place, old-fashioned but in a good way. Right next to a superb hiking trail. The breakfast was lovely also.

Bed was very creaky, it woke us up in the night! It was also a little hard to check out, there were no staff around for a good 10m, not ideal when you have a train to catch...

wonderful stay

everything. The general manager is really nice and the hotel has everything you may need. our room was at the top floor, an apartment as we were 2 adults + 2 kids, and the size of the room was perfect. also the little kitchen had all the you would need. breakfast was included and had a good variety and options. the village and the area is stunning. we stayed for two days and for sure will keep in our memories. the style is typical from the area - Black Forest
