Clean, comfortable, convienent - would love to stay here again.

It was so quaint and comfortable. Almost like being in someone‘s home.

Good location & facilities, but SURPRISE fees.

Nice space in rooms including wardrobe closets, although, more shelf or dresser space would have been preferred. Good location for walking access to amenities in town.

We were shocked at checkout with an additional 150 euros charge for our 4-year old. The policy seems to say that this is for "child beds." So I am asking booking.com to try to resolve this.

Perfect location for our return visit to Hinterzarten after 25 years, we were not disappointed

Great central location for Hinterzarten and surrounding areas. Excellent traditional breakfast each morning with homemade bread.

Basic, Functional Hotel, Greatly Decorated in a Nice Location with Friendly Staff

The gentleman at the reception was friendly and tried his best to accommodate. The room was basic but quite, clean and functional with a great terasse and view.

Superb

The location, titisee is great but really just there to service the tourist trade now, it's an easy walk from hinterzarten if your still young and 60. Hinterzarten it's self is much better, bars , restaurants, cake shop much better, if your lucky you see the kids on the ski jump, the hotel is super clean and very well kept and very high quality but the decor is a little independent, that all adds to the charm.

Great central location with walks, restaurants and train station nearby. We loved the breakfast options every morning especially the eggs, cheese and range of breads. Our accommodation was exceptionally clean and we loved the quiet terrace.

Winter Wonderland

It was a snowy winter wonderland while we stayed at this hotel. We were here for the Christmas Market and we were close to the trail that went to the market (approx. 1 hour hike). The room was quiet and clean. We enjoyed the house Gluhwein.

We wish our little puppy could have joined us for breakfast but we understood when the host told us that she wasn't allowed for the sake of the other guests.

clean room but extra child5yo charged 40e/night

arrival night, hotel owner says that being 3persons including a 5yo boy is fine for a 2persons bedroom. (we did not indicated it on booking) BUT, at last minute departure, the energetic lady charged us 40euros for our son who slep in our double bed with me and my wife. => 40€ for a child breakfast is not cheap! … and despite their surprise overcharge 40e at ends => at breakfast, we had No extra set of cutlery for the child. the worst is to make us feel that the child is not welcomed but for the money, Yes it is! next day in nearby hotel, child charged 10e for breakfast , including the cutlery set for the child!

Cosy room, we had a small living room area separately which was nice. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the use of the sauna, which was relaxing. Breakfast area was very nice to sit in.

Exterior and downstairs lobby area feel a little dated for me personally, but this is probably personal taste more than anything else

Nice environment, comfy room.

Breakfast was not replaced in the last hour so we could't really taste it. Room comfy but a bit cluttered. Perhaps less furniture in the bathroom could look better. Hut decor not matching with plastic chair and overwhelmed elements.
