Very charming and the location was wonderful!

Very charming and amazing location!

Parking can probably be a bit challenging in the summertime, but we managed to park on the public parking a couple of minutes away. Parking was also free.

Great location in the village centre

The location was great. Right in the centre of Valbonne village. Lots of nice restaurants on your doorstep.

The room was freezing when I arrived! Particularly the floor. If you go there in winter, take a pair of slippers or thick socks. The breakfast room had been set up in advance. No staff to be seen when I came down around 8am. Lots of dirty plates and half-eaten food had been left lying around by people who had eaten earlier. It was not the cosiest breakfast!

Small, clean and cosy hotel.

No shelves for toiletries in the bathroom, plus faulty ventilation. Behind the bathroom door, there was a motor whose vibrations turned off the overhead lighting in the room.

Outstanding stay in a beautiful house of character in an pretty quiet village.

Located in the heart of the village but with beautiful views across the landscape from the property. The rooms all individually styled to reflect the historic character of the house, and very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities provided. There is a large patio overlooking the surrounding landscape for guests to have breakfast, as well as a communal lounge to relax in. Home made honey, preserves, yoghurt and pastries made for a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the welcome drink made from local ingredients by our host. Olivier was a delightful host and did everything to make our stay a memorable one. There is parking on site and in the village square opposite. The village has a boulangerie, and a beautiful church worth visiting.

Bottled water in the room is charged for. Hotel asked guests via a note in the room not to change the aircon control but it wasn’t working well.

Valbonne itself is absolutely fantastic, a charming, picturesque city that makes for a wonderful destination. The hotel's location within this delightful setting is superb, putting you right in the heart of everything this beautiful Provençal town has to offer.

The management at Hotel Les Armoiries appears completely indifferent to guest comfort and basic hospitality standards. We arrived to dirty sheets with dark stains: an unacceptable welcome to any accommodation. Despite reporting this issue the following morning and receiving assurances that it would be resolved, nothing was done. To make matters worse, housekeeping removed our used towels but failed to provide replacements, leaving us without basic amenities. The lack of available staff to address these fundamental problems, combined with no backup supplies, demonstrates a concerning absence of management oversight and care.

Rubbish place to stay, waisting money time and respect

In first place Who made this place Hotel then gave it 3 star?!!!! The lift wasn’t working, I found insects every where as well as on bed and when I informed the receptionist one of them said she will follow up the other one after some times called me and said it is what it is we can not control the insects!!!! If they are not capable to do a pest control why they gave star?! I do not trust booking.com any more…. Also in this shitty place there is no lift and no taxi would find it because the road majority of the time is closed as it is too narrow! I asked for iron and they told me that I have to wait because there’s only one iron with one iron board…. Even an Airbnb is much better and you call this HOTEL?! WITH 3 STARS?! You probably don’t know what the star means!!!!

Everything from the bloody location to the bad behaviour of the receptionist and finding insects inside my bed, not having a proper lift to the check out time which I told the receptionist I already paid the city tax and she insist that I didn’t and later I found a receipt of my payment !!! Horrible people horrible place and I never ever ever come back as well as I informed ever single people who I know around me about it specially my friends who love in south France

Little gem, in a beautiful village!

We were delighted to be on the main square. It was quiet at night, even though it was such a vibrant part of the town. Highly recommend for a short getaway, especially on a Friday as market day is so lovely!

Underwhelming experience and disappointing (non-existent) view.

The location is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than expected.

We were in a room at the very top of the building that had no windows you can see out of. It was claustrophobic and dull—the opposite of the charming village views you book this hotel for. The noise from the square went very late and you could hear every laugh, shout, and dropped plate through the thin walls—running the air conditioner all night didn’t drown the sounds. The television was a bit outdated but fine for basic French channels. It was not WiFi/streaming compatible. The WiFi was slow and unreliable in the room we were in, as if the signal didn’t reach well.

Perfect, comfortable, no fuss spot for a couple of days' enjoyment of Valbonne

The central, historical location enabled full enjoyment of Valbonne's evening and morning facilities without having to trek in from the suburbs. Very clean room and excellent bathing.

As will always be the case, an old hotel in the centre, with a room overlooking the principal square will always be noisy till the restaurants close, but that's a price worth paying in my book
