Quiet and Relaxing quiet stay

The room was comfortable, great large pool surrounded by a beautiful garden and it was in a quiet location. Easy and free parking. Loved the balcony looking over the garden and pool. Approx. 20 min to Antibe, Canne and Grasse by car. The manager is very professional.

A delightful stay in a charming hotel.

The hotel is delightful. The setting is charming, the facilities excellent, the rooms comfortable and the pool is such a good size. The staff were so helpful and so welcoming. Eating a delicious breakfast in the charming setting was lovely. We spent four nights there and would return.

I thought the reception area could be furnished in a more interesting and classy way. I found it not reflection the mood of the property and cheap looking. The rest of the property had charm.

One of the best hotel experiences of my life

This is an absolute gem of a hotel...a real oasis of calm and relaxation in a busy area of Provence. The staff, from the General Manager Rafaelle down were all amazing. Food was excellent, pool wonderful, rooms an absolute lesson in comfort and cleanliness

Our stay was very disappointing and we won't be going back

The garden and pool

The decor was extraordinary. Our bedroom had a basic plastic cover over the fridge and tin side tables. The catch by the door got stuck and we couldn't get in. The batteries in the safe were flat so that had to be sorted. We arrived late morning and we were told to walk to a boulangerie 15 minutes away to get a sandwich as they couldn't give us a snack. Finally they were short staffed on reception and there was nearly always a queue. Wi-fi was almost impossible to get on a daily basis.

Marriott in a Bastide

Marriott's Tribute Portfolio, which we did not know, otherwise we would have used our points... Recently renovated so everything is new, but very dull looking colors for common areas such as the lobby, breakfast room, etc. The decor is plain, modern, and is not in sync with a historical Bastide. RESTAURANT: outdoor: very nice, not enough sun umbrellas, limited menu. Tables have tablecloth. PARKING: free and plenty of spaces SERVICE: excellent, staff tries really hard to please us

ROOMS: clean but IKEA looking furniture (with cheap metal night stands), so very plain with no charm whatsoever -First floor: small patio. Ask for a room on the side to have more privacy. BREAKFAST -Indoor: awful looking room with absolutely no decor and dull colors. So bad that no one wants to have breakfast indoors. -Outdoor: very nice (tables have tablecloth) BUT we need to go up and down the stairs to access the buffet with plates/cups in our hands. This is dangerous as it is an accident and potential lawsuit waiting to happen. Most hotels have waiters to bring drinks (coffee/juice) during breakfast. This hotel expects us to get everything ourselves: food and drink. This is too much to carry up and down the stairs, and definitely not 4-star level. POOL Very large but not heated. The fence around the pool is an eyesore and needs to be covered with plants. The lounge chairs do not have a cushion, and therefore the pool area looks more like a motel-style pool. There is a bar, that was closed at the time of our stay. Overall, the best assets of this hotel are the outdoor restaurants and the service. Everything else is average.

Property with lovely garden and pool recently opened but not ready yet

Beautiful garden and pool. Good size room with terrace garden side Reception very kind and helpful.

Too much noise of workers due to refurbishment of the hotel. No apology or information before arriving to the hotel. Entrance partly blocked by construction workers and materials. Management invisible with no interest in guests complain. Poor quality of service at the restaurant during dinner and breakfast. No lift for upper floor, difficult with heavy suitcases.

plumbing wasn’t good. shower did not have glass shield or any curtain. Rooms are clean but old and need an upgrade. There were no plugs near the bed.

A charming hotel in the South of France

The hotel was very charming, with beautiful gardens, typical of the south of France. The rooms are spacious and quite clean, the pool is nice and it is in a great location, halfway between Grasse and Cannes and only 15min away from Nice airport. Equipment was enough and the breakfast was good!

Check in was a little late, the restaurant and bar was closed for 2 days because of a holiday (which sounds unbelievable to me as a Hotel is supposed to always be open? I live in Dubai so I may be biaised). Also, the restaurant re-opened on the last day and I went to book a table in the morning for the same night, the lady told me that the 2 services were fully booked... you guessed it, in the end I saw there was only 2 tables booked on that night and I realized after we booked in another restaurant 15min away. I don't understand why some places try to look exclusive and refuse business like that... absolute non sense. Anyways we still had a good stay besides that!

Comfortable night and relaxing start of the day

Nice location in the hills over Cannes, easy to reach from the highway, and with a Tesla Supercharger right in the parking lot. Beautiful architecture and a very well-cared-for garden around the pool.

I was not particularly impressed by the breakfast. No direct service at the table, for the hot beverages, there was a machine like in any IBIS or similar hotels, and a reasonable choice of sweet and more continental-style food.

Small bathroom with damaged tiles ,damaged window and old faucets.The plates in the room are in poor condition . The reception wanted to give us a room weaker than we booked .

Beautiful hotel extremely disappointed with the staff

The hotel was beautiful, in a fabulous location with incredible grounds but the hostility of the staff, the comments made at dinner to keep down the noise ( children from the next table came over to show us their pictures) and the sheer indifference was extremely uncomfortable . Again the hotel is beautiful but we felt like we were unwanted . We were happy to leave and sorry that our experience was so disappointing.

Have had two previous stays at the hotel - in 2017 and 2019 which both were fabulous. Quito, fantastic service, nice staf, etc.

This time for us it was too crowded by young families with small children that dominated the facilities including the swimmingpool. Very noicy.
