The weather was kind. We were comfortable, much better than a guest house.

We have been before. It is our property of choice as my fellow companion has mobility issues. Apart from the few steps down, and slight in level floors from room to room in a couple of places, it suits us very well.

Nothing to dislike. Unfortunately, winter weather has made the steps outside a bit uneven and these will be deteriorating over time. There is a hand rail, so 5is is ok as it stands.

Great accommodation and location

The lady, Michelle was extremely friendly and helpful. The email with the info about how to get the keys got lost somewhere along the way (probably went into my junk mail and got automatically deleted) so I didn't have the instructions with me about how to get the keys. I thought my daughter, who was going to arrive before us had contacted her but she hasn't. I called Michelle a few hours before our arrival and she was very friendly and unphased by our lack of organisation. On arrival, we found a bottle of wine and delicious savoury biscuits and shortbread. The accomodation has lots of games, books and DVD which was great for a night in, after long trekking days. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole accomodation is nicely decorated.

The kitchen handle (this was the main entrance) was not attached properly which made it difficult to lock the accomodation, although my daughter got the knack for it. We mentioned it to Michelle and I am certain this will be sorted very quickly. Given the quality of the accommodation, it's probably something she did not know about.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. Nicely decorated with modern fittings.

The slabs on the deck outside could be slippy when wet. If you trod on the gravel, you kept treading vegetation from the trees into the apartment. If walkers stay, 5e door mat wasn’t adequate for cleaning boots, so a grate or rubberised mat outside would be helpful. Would have liked a small spare cupboard to put groceries in. Also a flat surface in the bathroom to put toiletries on would be nice but probably not practical with the set up there. It is down a few steps, so no good if you are disabled. Parking is on a hard standing on a raised level. Surprised there was no shower gel. In our experience, most self catering apartments do provide it these days.

Weather was not good so appreciated having somewhere comfortable and warm to return to.

easy walk into the town. Property lovely and warm and comfortable, well equipped. Off road parking, always a bonus. Communication with property owner excellent and informative. Would certainly return.

Need to be aware if you have mobility issues there are a couple of level changes into/from some of the rooms. Not an issue once you remember they are there.

I’ve stayed in a number of places and ran my own Airbnb so I’m very particular! it was exceptionally clean, warm, comfortable and had absolutely everything me and my girls needed! I will absolutely be back!

Owner gave the instructions in good time and directed us to the website which had really useful information about restaurants, sites, walks. Beds were so comfy and towels soft ! The whole flat was very clean with lovely touches

Amazing location for accessing Buxton, it's a 5 minute walk to all the attractions. Apartment was clean and very well appointed. Beds super comfortable and cosy. The apartment is basement but the front garden makes it feel open. Peaks within a short drive as well as some amazing walks right on the doorstep. We hope to return.
