Great location, great value

Brilliant location, easy walk to the lake and into the city along the canal. Supermarket nearby and coffee shop. Quiet road overlooking the war cemetery with a balcony. Light and bright studio with plenty of space. Kitchen equipped with all you need for a short stay. Bathroom with shower is clean and works well ith plenty of hot water. Brilliant for the price.

A little tired and in need of some decor updates in places but expected for the price I would have liked a microwave, if there was one I couldn't find it.

A few changes would much improve it

The apartment was clean and comfortable, on the ground floor. Free parking on the street.

The check-in could go smoother. I had not received any instructions regarding the check-in before arrival. We arrived and the hosts appeared from around the corner. The filling in of the forms, taking photos of passports and giving instructions how to lock and unlock the door are not necessary when your guests arrive tired. Everything could have been done smoother, through messages, and contactless. What was not given were the WiFi instructions, there were none in the room, so I had to contact the host and it took half an hour to get the info. And the payment is in cash only, which should be stated on the reservation. Luckily, I have had some cash.

Spacious.

Not very clean, strange smell in the bathroom, everything is pretty old. The light bulb in the bathroom died right away. The mattress is also not good for light sleepers like me. Not worth 65euro per night. The owner mention that I got a room with the view. But this view is to the cemetery.

Bitten by bedbugs! Do not stay here!

In March I was visiting Klagenfurt for a 3 nights holiday. On the second morning at Paul's home I woke up to over 20 bed bug bites all over my body. The bites were itchy, painful, red and spreading. I let the host know and he came to see the evidence. He was dismisive and suggested that the bites could be food allergies and offered to replace a bed mattress. Only after I told him that I would be leaving immediately, he has returned me a half of money paid for 3 nights. I had to book another accommodation for one night. Back in the UK I was seen at the A&E and prescribed antibiotics and antihistamines for 7 days for allergy to bed bugs venom. I've tried to contact the hotel owner in Austria, sent him emails together with more photos of the bites and the A&E report, but my emails and phone calls were unanswered. Finally, in a message, in German, via Booking, the hotel owner had claimed that most people bring the bedbugs with them, and also take them back with them! This is the most ludicrous thing I ever heard. He also stated out that he doesn't answer calls from ±44 as they are usually scams! (by the way, ±44 is the UK country code). This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in (and not just because of the bedbugs). Ending a holiday with such bed bites that were itching for days and then even to this day I still have marks from it on my arms and legs. I want to warn others not to book here. In addition, the hotel owner asks for payment to be in cash, so in case things go wrong you at at his mercy as no protection as with card payments.

The house and the room have a bad look the owner tried to scam me by not immediately making available the kitchen which was included in the price. He only opened the kitchen door when we let him notice.

Eine gute Unterkunft welche preiswert und empfehlenswert ist.

Es ist ein großes Appartement mit Küche und großem Wohn/Schlafzimmer. Das Appartement ist ruhig gelegen, allerdings mit Ausblick auf einen Friedhof (ich denke es ist ein Friedhof, allerdings sind lauter gleiche Gedenksteine in weisser Farbe aufgestellt. Es besitzt auch einen Balkon welchen ich allerdings aus Temperatur-Gründen nicht benutzt habe. Das Appartement ist bereits in die Tage gekommen aber es ist sauber und ich würde es wieder buchen.

Dass der Ausblick vom Zimmer auf einen Friedhof ist nicht direkt vorteilhaft, aber auch nicht störend. Siehe Foto.

Gute Lage

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem sehr nahe zu mehreren Restaurants und dem See. Es gibt viele Parkplätze und der Check in verlief sehr unkompliziert.

Kein Fenster mit Insektengitter. Fürchterliche Gerüche in allen Bereichen. Vermieter könnte einen vor Großbaustelle am Weg vom Bahnhof warnen bzw. wunderschönen Lendradseg empfehlen. Keine gute Beleuchtung zum Rasieren. Hautunfreundliches Bettzeug. Es sollten Mindeststandards in allen Privatherbergen verpflichtend und durchsetzbar gemacht werden!

Passt, kann man empfehlen!

Ruhige Lage im Univiertel, nette Wohnung mir voll ausgestatteter Küche, gute Matratze, parken vorm Haus, kurzer Fußweg zu den zahlreichen Lokalen in der Universitätsstraße, sehr guter und fairer Preis!

Kein WLAN verfügbar, Bad und Dusche mit wenig Platz, nur sehr wenige Steckdosen, zum Arbeiten eher unbequeme Stühle.

Empfehlenswert!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Hausherren empfangen, das Appartement war sehr sauber, die Verkehrsanbindung Top. Resturant's gleich in der Nähe, für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Das Strandbad Wörthersee mit ein paar Busstationen in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Also meinerseits sehr zu empfehlen.

Einen einzigen punktabzug gab es, da es abends und sehr früh morgens sehr laut war, da in unserem Nachbarzimmer eine Familie mit Kleinkind war. Aber dennoch, ich würde immer wieder bei Paul's Home buchen. Lieben Dank für alles.

Було безперечно дуже чисто В тихому приватному секторі

Не було засобів для прийняття душу, фену, хоча вони зазначені в описі Меблі і вся техніка старі На двоспальне ліжко дали тільки одну подушку і ковдру, ну я ж була сама))) Затерті стіни, дуже дивно підібрані меблі, не завадив би косметичний ремонт Немає розетки біля єдиного дзеркала у ванній, зате є розетка 220 V для електричної бритви) Затерті рушники Погана звукоізоляція вхідних дверей, тому постійно було чути голосну розмову з коридору
