Clean warm room, great location and view. Excellent place for a short stay.

Clean warm room. Good easy to operate shower. Lovely view. Comfortable bed. Great location. Hairdryer, ironing board and iron readily available. Good supply of tea, coffee and milk.

Didn't like the paper cups provided for tea and coffee. Would have preferred china mugs. Also a couple of glasses in the room would have been nice.

Excellent location for Barbican and The Hoe

Extremely good location, room 6 good size and clean. Bed linen and towels of good quality. Shower worked well . Rooms accessed separately from pub , with own entrance.

Needs a little bit if attention, difficult on seafront no doubt.

Great location for visiting Plymouth

Great location and views, room was clean and comfy bed. Nice views

As it was only a room for one it was basic but useable, very tiny TV , Bare light fitting in bathroom which made bathroom dark, Shower head only dangling on rail and fluctuated between cold and scolding so not enjoyable. Very noisy at the front.

The sound of the toilet flushing was a massive horn noise that shook the room, it was very unexpected and scary initially.

Lovely little budget room with a great view across the harbour. Plenty of food options within the area. Room was lovely and warm with easily controllable heating.

The numbers on the power shower need re-doing. Couldn't work out why the shower was luke warm until I twigged that the higher numbers were unreadable. However - once discovered - shower was nice and hot.

Comfortable pub accommodation surrounded by maritime history

Good honest pub accommodation in a great part of Plymouth, with easy access to the city centre and tourist attractions. I loved the history of the Admiral McBride and the Barbican (old harbour) area as a whole. My room had everything I needed and it even came with harbour view I wasn't expecting (plus separate residents' entry). Friendly staff completed a happy stay.

It was centrally located, easy to reach from the nearby car parks, the room was larger and more spacious than expected.

The noise. Although the noise from the pub itself was inaudible, the speaker on the outside wall piping music to the empty outdoor seating area was right under my window and kept me awake. Given it was cold, wet, and the area was empty, outside music seemed unnecessary.

Puts you in the middle of the action and feel like you are going back in time just a bit!

Easy check, enjoyable view of the harbor and the people strolling around, each checkout, a bar on the ground floor, close to all the action.

The motorcycles going by can be quite loud in the evenings, but there isn't much of that overnight.

Small room. Very noisy road outside and it didn’t help that the windows did not shut properly. Water pressure was terrible so the shower was poor. Windows being cleaned at 8’pclock in the morning.

It was just what we wanted, being in the heart of Plymouth. Beautiful!

The room felt like a cosy, old-fashioned English bedroom come sitting room. We could see the famous Mayflower steps from our window along with great views of the marina. It was perfectly located for shops, restaurants and walks, plus we were able to park conveniently in a car park a mere 5 minute walk away. It cost about £13 for 24 hours, not cheap but we had peace of mind knowing it was just across the road.

The location and view is excellent as are the staff, whoever cleans the room is amazing, they do above and beyond

The ensuite is very close to the side of the bed so a little tricky and the bed was I think a standard double so a little small, but measurements were in the details so I'm not really complaining, one thing that needs sorting is the dressing table stool! The legs need tightening
