The Three Crowns B&B

Very central, very clean, very comfortable

Nothing

Pretty much everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean room. Beautiful shower. Very quiet inside the location given that it's a public house. A wonderful breakfast available at no extra charge. I certainly will be returning!

It was so warm that I had to leave the window open overnight. No fault of the property itself, but I could hear someone singing karaoke or something similar until the early hours.

Great location, nice place

Room was very hot, air conditioning not working but overall not a bad stay

The lady that cleaned/took care of the rooms (Christine?) was excellent! She really took care of us and ensured that a few asks were seen to (over and above) right away. Kudo's and many thanks!

Breakfast was not "superb" as advertised. Staff not very friendly really. Coffee was instant make it yourself from a tea urn style set up. Urn was not turned on in time and water was luke warm. Next day, staff boiled a kettle and put it at the bar. One does look forward to a good quality cup of coffee in the mornings and this was inadequate. Breakfast was ok - most mornings didn't have a cooked breakfast and when we asked for toast, exactly one piece of toast cut and in half was offered (lol). I mean give us a good amount if we aren't having a cooked breakfast nor asking for a lot of food. It sort of spoiled the experience to be honest. The noise we were warned about and ready for so can't complain. If you want a quiet stay - Do NOT stay here. If you are the life and soul of a party, DO stay here and enjoy. It's extremely noisy and not just on a Fri/Sat night - midweek it seems that the opposite establishments have kareoke night so be warned. On the other hand, nice to see that it's so vibrant on the barbican these days.
