Surprisingly very average

Great location room was spacious

Bathroom was poorly maintained restaurant was surprisingly poor . Went for the evening meal , took out meal to the wrong person so extra long wait, calamari still had sinew in and breakfast very average.

Well looked after, comfortable and lovely staff.

Hotel location is great, right on the Hoe and only a short walk from town. The food at breakfast was really good, lots of choice and well prepared. The evening was lovely too. Allergies were taken seriously The bed was comfy and room spacious.

The changing rooms in the pool were cold!

The room was spacious and comfortable, the restaurant in the evening was fantastic. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and it’s location is ideal for ease of access to the Hoe, town centre, Barbican and for other activities during our stay

An information booklet in the room would have been nice, containing basic information to help with your stay, such as WiFi code, how to use the safe, some useful telephone numbers, what to do in the event of an emergency and information on some local attractions. The shower lacked water pressure. The food heating lamps at breakfast did not do their job as by the time you got your plate of food back to your table the food was either luke warm or cold.

Will always stay at Crown Plaza when I come to Plymouth (birthplace)

Breakfast was as good as always and the staff were as pleasant and efficient as ever.Love the view! Room and bathroom spotlessly clean as were all the public areas and lifts.Nice atmosphere.

Desk top in bedroom needs replacing and there was insufficient lighting where the tea and coffee trays were.A little hazardous using the kettle. Poor choice of whisky in ground floor bar.No blended Scotch available

Pleasent stay

Continental breakfast was included in the room price which was a nice surprise. Location is great and we paid extra for a view which we enjoyed Breakfast has a lovely view on the penthouse floor but the widows are quite grubby which was disappointing. We had dinner one evening in MPW which was nice. the brownie was really good. Location is excellent and all of the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was large and clean. Pool is nice and warm. Gym was a little underwhelming but better than not having one! It was nice and quiet when I used it.

The lifts! Please fix the third lift, or move breakfast to the lobby to ease the use of them. 2 lifts servicing a hotel this size is not sufficient. There was a sofa bed in our room that unfortunately didn't close properly (there were only 2 of us so we didn't have it out) which mean you couldn't sit on it comfortably to look out and enjoy the view which was a shame.

Why have we not stayed here before…

Room was very clean and spacious, bathroom could have been a bit bigger with an easier access to shower. Breakfast was good value and staff very attentive.

For what should be the premier hotel in Plymouth, this has some way to go

Reception was quick, helpful staff.

Zero discipline - the hotel staff said nothing to the guests who allowed their kids to use the bar and reception as a kids club - jumping around furniture, play fighting and then to top it off a couple of the dads got out a drum and cymbal and started making a racket. Only then did the staff decide to ask the feral family to consider that the hotel had other guests trying to enjoy their evening. Breakfast was bizarrely and barely lukewarm.

Perfect location The breakfast is delicious The bedroom is quite big and well equipped The fitness center is nice and well equipped also

The bathroom is very tiny : the access to the bath is difficult, even dangerous. We can split very easy The towels were clean but stained And for me : they did not change the cups of tea from the previous client (I guess): too bad as they were dirty And I was surprised to see that the cleaning room did not including tidying up the room: this just about cleaning the bathroom and the bed for a standard like this it was quite surprising

Great hotel but disappointed with room on this occasion

The property is in an excellent location. Rooms big and mattress comfortable, Amazing breakfast and friendly staff.

Our room was very hot and when I reported this was told air conditioning is turned off in the winter and the sun had heated the room. Pillows not comfortable and requested new pillows that were equally as uncomfortable. Hotel needs to invest in new pillows

I was very upset that the room i booked and paid for was opposite the lifts so moved to a less luxurious room no queen size beds as booked and NO REFUND even though the room was not as my booking

The highlight was the bar man was very accommodating when I was very undicisive with my drink selection. Served all the drinks beautifully and very polite.

In our room the carpet was stained from what looked like a radiator leak and the car park was very tight to drive around.

Noisy on the 10th floor

Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable, and had a fantastic breakfast

There is only one problem.....but a big problem! We stayed in room 1009 on the tenth floor. My guess is this room is directly under the kitchen. Continues banging! Very noisy. I'm not a light sleeper, but I had trouble getting to sleep, only to get woken up to banging at 5.00 in the morning
