Wonderful hotel in the middle of the Loire region

This small hotel was a discovery, with very nice rooms and above all a fantastic kitchen, both for breakfast and for dinner, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A beautiful wine selection as well. All really perfect and very friendly reception, an address we would like to return to.

Serene bucolic location but close to main routes so a good stopover on a long journey. Very pleasant and enthusiastic staff and excellent breakfast and restaurant.

Tasting menu for dinner with paired wine was good but was ultimately not really memorable enough to match our expectation from the price.

A great pleasure as a mid-journey break on the way south (or north).

Madame is always very friendly and welcoming and the staff well trained and polite. Breakfast was excellent as usual. The fruit juice and coffee were delicious. The quality of food at dinner and the wine list were also excellent.

It is going up market with increased prices since aquiring their first Michelin star. The chef is very creative but the change from Bib to Star needs careful thought to avoid over-complication of dishes and we prefer a la carte, or at least a choice, not a fixed menu. We look forward to visiting once the extensive rebuild is complete next year.

Gorgeous room and food - perfect combination - Auberge Pom'Poire is ideal for chateau hopping

Stay AND dine (divinely...that Michelin star is well deserved)...what could be better? The accommodations, breakfast and dinner are stellar. The property was so kind to allow rental bikes to be delivered since the bike shop was going to be closed the days we wanted to bike to Villandry and Chateau D'Azay-le-Rideau. The auberge is positioned perfectly for a one-day velo excursion to both chateaus, and the bike trail is well-marked. It's a highly recommended property.

J’ai rarement apprécié un tel dîner dans un cadre superbement décoré avec goût et irréprochable service

Qualité exceptionnelle du repas. Beaucoup de recherches, qualité parfaite des produits, originalité des combinaisons, service attentif et précis. Attentions toutes particulières et conseils avisés du sommelier. Raffinement dans le choix de la vaisselle, des couverts, de la verrerie. J’ai beaucoup beaucoup de mal à trouver la moindre critique désagréable. Merci pour cette charmante soirée.
