A very pleasant stay in a Renaissance Manoir!

Vast room in a Renaissance style, access to the beautiful living room, large pool accessible at any time as well as the game room. 2min by car from chateau of Azay-le-rideau. Good breakfast with fruits, French cheese and pastries served by Alain, our very nice host.

Loved it! Best manoir ever!

We loved this manoir. Everything was amazing, really clean, luxury and comfy bedding, beautiful landscape and for the kids everything they need, a pool, a playroom and filled with a lot of amazing stuff. And not to forget a lovely breakfast and a friendly host. Loved it!! Would come back for sure.

The only downside for us with litlle children was that it was very warm at night (we had a fan but loved some cold outside air) because we wouldn't dare to open the windows. If you opened them you could just walk outside (no barrier and they started from the floor to the top) and drop 2 floors down. And if we could cook something in the evening, that would be really amazing. But we saw a kitchen in the making next to the playroom so we guessed that would be there soon.

The entrance was locked. The turn around space was tight. The owners were on vacation, and it was difficult to reach someone to open the gate. They said Booking never contacted them.

Lovely couple of days on route to the South-West of France

Beautiful old manor - even older than the castle (which is on walking distance and definately worth a visit!), large rooms - the family room was very big with a connected room for our 3 kids. The kids loved the swimming pool and play area, we even had a family competition 'air hockey' ;-) Also nice was the fact that we were allowed to use the guest kitchen (could be a little bit better equiped) so after a full french lunch, we just prepared ourselves a nice picknick at the manor in the evening. Azay-le-Rideau is also a beautiful small town. And we had fun canoeing on the Indre river.

nothing, we had a lovely couple of days. The breakfast is very French, so no savory offerings with the bread (which Dutch people are used to). However, it was not a problem that we took our own cheese from the fridge to add to our breakfast, so all good really.

Perfect stop of en route home

Amazing old manoir dating from 1531. Felt less like a hotel - more like a guest of Alain in his beautiful home. Great pool / games room complex. Perfect location for sight seeing and a short wander into Azay-le-Rideau for incredible ice cream and good food.

Great location and beautiful house

Alain and his son were very welcoming and accommodating to us and our two year old son. We had a large room with an extra bed and a cot to choose from for our toddler. Azay-le-Rideau is a beautiful romantic village with wonderful chateau and is only a 10-15 minute walk from the property. The facilities at the manoir included a great indoor pool and games room which we enjoyed.

Breakfast is very basic (bakery foods and tea/coffee) so if you’re looking for anything more then bring your own.

Tout. L'accueil très chaleureux de Florence et de son mari. Les chambres spacieuses; Les lits très grands et très confortables. Les petit-déjeuners avec produits locaux. La piscine superbe. La situation géographique permettant de visiter de nombreux sites et châteaux.

Splendida zona con tante cose da visitare e stare in un Chateau lo rende particolare

Colazione ad hoc, preparata dalla signora ogni mattina. Piscina sempre disponibile comoda e un bel giardino per riposarsi tra le visite ai castelli. Ottima la camera. Posizione notevole, vicino al castello di Azay le Rideau e in posizione centrale per tutti gli altri.
