The staff were extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. The hotel was easy to find and located right next to a roundabout that let you go anywhere in the region. There were shops across the highway (accessible by car 2 minutes). Great place to stay if exploring the region’s Chteaux.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were looked after very well by Phillipe, Natasha and the staff. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was very good. However, for us the highest marks should go to to the food. The breakfast had an excellent European choice. The dinners were superb. The menu was changed everyday and there was a limited but good choice of dishes. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The fish and desserts were particularly good. It was a very good price for the quality. We intended to eat there just twice but only ate out at a small restaurant in the village was once. Philippe was very helpful in giving us suggestions for visits. We would definitely stay there again when we next visit France.

Welcomed by Natalia and her parrot when we arrived. Lovely old hotel with easy parking right outside, and a stones throw from the town itself. Our room was well presented, quiet and very comfortable with a good sized ensuite. We booked a table at the restaurant for that evening and glad we did as it was pretty full. Loved our 2 night stay and would definitely recommend it.

A very nice little hotel. Lovely welcome when I arrived. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the Loire area. The evening meal and morning breakfast were extremely good. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

For us (2couples) it was a great place. Friendly and helpful proprietor and staff. Bedroom very comfortable. Restaurant was fine. Not an extensive menu but we had no problems with it. If we are ever in the area again we would be more than happy to revisit.

At night it is very peaceful and got an amazing nights sleep every night. The breakfast is very good! Basic, but extremely good quality, just what you need to start the day. The staff speak perfect English, but will speak with you in French if you are trying to learn. The beautiful town by the river of Azay Le Rideau, is very close, a 10 minute walk and has some nice cafes, bars and traditional shops, as well as a beautiful Chateau. If this area isnt on your radar, it should be!!
