Wonderful peaceful stay on an elegant French house

A great stay in a lovely location with delightful hosts

The house is situated in lovely countryside. Eric and his lovely wife were very welcoming and Eric's home made jam made from fruits of their garden was some of the best I have had especially his 'secret' one!

Stay at an authentic French farm home

A very friendly couple runs the place. They even cooked dinner for us because we arrived late. They make you a lovely breakfast that you eat in their kitchen which is incredibly charming. A really great place to stay if want to get some real experience with French people.

Superb

Eric and Cathy are very welcoming hosts! They have a beautiful place and it was a pleasure to spend three days in the beautiful garden and by the pool. Our children loved the birds, horses, the cats and chickens. Such a pleasurable and relaxing visit. Thank you

Great stay!

Peaceful and quiet location near the Cher River. Approximately 30-min drive to Tours. The hosts were very helpful and caring. Provided assistance with diner reservations, recommended visits of local castles and wineries. Wonderful breakfast.

Cathy and Eric hosts were very helpful checking my reservation at a near by restaurant We travelled with a dog and stayed in a garden cottage which was very cosy and warm on a cold and damp November evening Breakfast was superb with homemade jams,cheeses,ham ,fruit,cereal croissants,coffee and juice

The property is well located near Villandry castle. The hosts Cathy and Eric were very nice. They invited us in for a welcome drink before dinner. We were treated like part of the family. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of the condiments being homemade. Highly recommended.

Уютный домашний уголок

Прекрасный гостевой дом с добрыми хозяевами. Мы жили в небольшом отдельном домике с красивым интерьером и множеством интересных деталей. Чувствуется забота хозяев в каждой вещи. Было очень тепло и чисто. Всё работало исправно и мы чувствовали себя уютно. В номере был чайник, чай, кофеварка, посуда, холодильник. Мы прекрасно отдохнули. Территория вокруг дома ухоженная и очень зелёная. Есть своя парковка. Хозяева нас радушно встретили, всё рассказали и утром накормили очень сытным и вкусным завтраком на своей кухне (выпечка, кофе, домашние джемы, сок, свежий фруктовый салат, мюсли). Также они рассказали нам историю своего дома, которому уже 200 лет и дали попробовать очень интересный джем, свареный из кое-чего (не скажу из чего, угадайте сами!). Также нам повезло приехать во Францию в сезон сбора винограда и хозяева дома дали нам попробовать напиток, который является вином на ранней стадии своего созревания. Он имеет очень интересный и освежающий вкус. Мы очень благодарны этим хорошим людям за их теплоту и доброту, и всем советуем оставаться на ночь именно в гостевых домах, так как только так вы сможете ощутить настоящую жизнь местных людей.

Tolle Gastfreundschaft

Eric und Cathy waren sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung war wie in einem typisch französischen Family Home. Beim Frühstück wurden wir mit frischen Backwaren, Crepes, vielen Sorten Konfitüre, guten Gesprächen und gutem Kaffee verwöhnt. Der Garten war sehr schön angelegt.

Tout était parfait ! Eric et Cathy sont des hôtes charmants avec qui on espère rester en relation. Le cadre est exceptionnel, au bord du Cher dans un véritable parc arboré.

Struttura incantevole, con camera molto caratteristica con vista piscina, ma il valore aggiunto è la loro ospitalità unica, ci hanno preparato una colazione incredibile a bordo piscina. posizione perfetta a 2 passi da Vallandry e dai più bei castelli della Loira. Consigliatissimo

Topverblijf

Een heel rustgevend verblijf. Heel aangename gastheer en gastvrouw die je in de watten legt en altijd klaar staan voor een aperitief ;-) Heel aangename tuin met top zwembad. Kamers zijn comfortabel in de stijl van de Loirestreek. Wij als gezin met drie kinderen hebben echt wel genoten van ons verblijf

Alles was top! Als ik toch iets met zeggen, dan was het bed misschien wat kort.

Délicieux havre de nature entre le Cher et la Loire

Maison idéalement située entre le Cher et la Loire. L’accueil de nos hôtes était absolument parfait, la chambre très confortable, le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Prenez le temps de visiter le jardin exceptionnel guidé par un jardinier qui ne l’est pas moins. Une adresse à recommander, merci pour tout !

Une adresse exceptionnelle à tous points de vue. Accueil chaleureux, belles chambres, jardin enchanteur, confitures maison etc. Idéal notamment pour une étape à vélo : possibilité de garer les vélos à l'abri, jolie route d'accès le long du Cher, guinguette toute proche (Savonnières).
