A nice small hotel right on the main square of Langeais. Owner very nice and talkative. French style breakfast. Very clean.

The stuff was very nice and location is perfect - it's in the centre of the town so it's close to restaurants, boulangerie, castle and a shop. We also get a safe place to leave our bikes for the night.

There wasn't a separate toilet in the room - in fact there was only a partial wall so that your companion in the room can hear everything that you do in the toilet. In our room the shower was next to the bed - all humidity rests inside the room (together with poor light and green walls it gives a sad effect).

Fabulous and relaxing stay on our bicycling trip along the Loire River

Staff was very gracious and welcoming, and so patient with us, in spite of us knowing very little French. We were traveling by bicycle, and they were very accommodating and helpful. The room was airy and plenty spacious, and the bed very comfortable. It was fun to have a beer in the courtyard, where locals gathered at the end of their work day. The proprietor was so kind to us. She was an absolute delight.

Nous sommes arrivés le samedi après-midi, TOUT était fermé : bar, restaurant et hôtel. On nous a envoyé par message le code d'un boitier à clés situé dans une petite impasse qui contenait deux clés (porte de derrière de l'hôtel et chambre) et un badge d'alarme. Aucun accueil ! On nous informait en outre que le bar et le restaurant étaient fermés et que nous n'aurions AUCUN petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin ! Juste quelqu'un pour encaisser à l'heure de notre départ que nous avons dû fournir. Et bien sûr, impossible d'annuler au dernier moment. Car même en supposant que la fermeture aurait été exceptionnelle (fermé du vendredi jusqu'au lundi affiché sur la porte du bar), il aurait été poli et convenable de nous en faire part AVANT que le délai d'annulation ne soit terminé. Bien entendu, nous aurions annulé immédiatement vu que les conditions annoncées sur BOOKING n'était plus remplies. Publicité mensongère ! Il était marqué sur BOOKING "Les hébergements possèdent une armoire"... FAUX "Salle bain privative"... FAUX, ce n'était pas une "salle de bain" : juste une cabine de douche sans VMC à même la chambre, avec la vapeur qui se répandait dans la pièce et un coin isolé par une cloison ne montant pas jusqu'au plafond et une "porte accordéon" pour les WC et un lavabo. Pas une étagère, pas une armoire, pas une commode, pas un tiroir, pas une table pour poser la valise, pas une chaise, pas un fauteuil, rien ! Nous avons dû emprunter une petite table trouvée sur la terrasse arrière ! A 23h30 nous avons été réveillés par les gens du dessus entrant dans leur chambre dont le moindre pas résonnait et grinçait sur le plancher qui peinait à étouffer les conversations. Pour un prix d'à peine 8€ inférieur à l'hôtel 3 étoiles que nous avions pris la veille sur SAUMUR, Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel miteux qui n'a pas proposé ce qui était pourtant marqué sur BOOKING.

Le bruit de travaux dans la cour intérieure jusqu'à 21h. Le bruit des voix et l'odeur de tabac venant de la cour interieure. Donc impossibilité d'ouvrir la fenêtre pour aérer la chambre et profiter de la fraîcheur de la soirée. Le système d'alarme de la porte donnant sur la ruelle

Chambre triste à mourir qui a grand besoin d'une réfection complète... odeur d'égout permanente, aucun rangement, pas de porte serviette, obligé de faire sécher les serviettes au milieu de la chambre, douche et WC dans la même pièce que la chambre..., parquet abimé, tapisserie décollée, goulottes pour les câbles électriques, plafond en plaques de polystyrène, joints de douche tout noirs... et pour finir une jolie surprise à l'arrivée : hôtel fermé tous les samedis donc pas de petit déjeuner ce jour là... débrouillez vous ! Bref si le propriétaire n'envisage pas des travaux rapidement, passez votre chemin car ce n'est pas louable en l'état ! Les photos parlent d'elles même !

Todo lo demás. Para empezar el hotel estaba cerrado cuando llegamos a las 16:00 h. Además nuestras maletas que nos la llevaba una empresa de transporte tampoco pudieron ser entregadas por el mismo motivo. Habitaciones pequeñas y muy incómodas con una ducha portátil.
