Wonderful welcome from Renata, who also provided the most fantastic three course dinner for our first night. The location is perfect, right next to a wonderful chateau, and the pool was a welcome bonus. It's not massive, but it's bigger than it looks in some pictures. Comfy beds, fans provided, and all the kitchenware you could possibly need. Lots of free parking available nearby, but you can pull in to unload your luggage. The property has great character. Shower room is modern and very nice. There are boat trips available about 10 mins drive away. Really quick and easy to visit Chenonceau and Azay le Rideau, Caves de Vouvray, etc. If you want to go into Tours you can park at the end of Tram Line A for 4 euros, then it's only an extra 10 cents per person for unlimited public transport.

Hele mooie ligging tegenover het Chateau Villandry. De tuin bij het appartement is mooi aangelegd en het gebruik van het zwembad maakt het bij het warme weer zeer aangenaam. Renate is een goede host en spreekt Engels.
