Well-appointed garden cottage, steps from the chateau

The Cottage Althea is very comfortable, with two separate bedrooms and a large airy kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has everything you need for standard meal prep, but also Renata went above and beyond to bring home made dinners to our cottage so that we could enjoy them after our two very young children went to sleep. Direct access to a garden where there are tables to eat outside and lovely places to sit. The pool is directly available in this garden. We were invited up to spend time and enjoy the view in the main garden, which is accessible through a gate and where the rest of the B&B is located. The town is very small and the main focus is the Chateau. There’s a boulangerie close by for morning breakfast runs. Renata had wonderful recommendations for our family, and was so warm and welcoming. She and her family and friends have made this a truly special place to stay and explore the region.

The close location to Châteaux de Villandry. Right next door to this world class garden and châteaux. Everything we needed to cook our meals was in the kitchen.

No rugs on the floor, adding some would make it a bit cozier.

Peaceful!

Comfortable room, beautiful garden, with small pool, overlooking the chateau, which itself is gorgeous

Pity no parking. We managed to park about 100 metres away, but it was quiet in June. Not much further to free public parking near river. Limited restaurants which closed very early in June

Lovely 2 night stay

very nice B&B, lots of indoor space and lovely garden. Close to town centre with some good restaurants and right next to the beautiful Chateau in Villandry. Breakfast was very good. Use of the Swimming pool was refreshing although there was an issue with the heater so a bit cool!

late check in set at 5pm, although we did arrive a bit early and were able to check in about an hour early so not a major issue. 2 small sachets of shampoo and shower gel wasn’t really enough for 2 people for 2 nights but we had some of our own to supplement this so again not a major problem.

Delightful. Best place to stay

We loved it here. You have a full view of the Chateau from the garden. It is amazing. The garden is full of flowers, vegetables and seats. Cottage Rosa is really comfortable and has a fully equipped kitchen next door. Renata and her family are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with homemade jams. Renata made us cold plates one night - she is a special chef with an eye for high quality food and presentation. The swimming pool was great - salt water, new, lovely temperature. Its a special place and we highly recommend it. It really made our holiday

ABSOLUTELY BLISSFUL

Renata was an incredible host. Beautiful breakfast in the mornings, the best French pastries, homemade jams, attention to detail was incredible. The charcuterie board that we ordered on the last night was something out of a dream! The colours and presentation were perfection, The location was perfect, the attention was perfect, the pool was great and the garden to die for!

great place but not very customer friendly service

great location, beautiful property, very well equipped

hot water for shower and heating were both turned off when we arrived and manager was very reluctant to let us use either, lots of extra charges not clearly stated (taxes 3x higher than what booking.com stated, sheets are charged extra but you are not told about that in advance or given an option to decline them), he also told us the last evening that other guests were arriving and we should park our car elsewhere as he wanted to give our spot to them

Immer wieder Le Petit Villandry

Wir waren für 3 Tage in Le Petit Villandry und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war recht einfach, aber dafür war der Garten ein Traum. Es gab auch ein kleines schönes Schwimmbad. Renata hat für unseren guten Aufenhalt gesorgt. Sie hat uns ein wunderbares Frühstück mit gutem Aufschnitt und Käse angeboten. Dazu gab es noch frische Früchte. Alles super 👍 aus dem Kühlschrank konnte man sich kalte Getränke holen. Sie hat uns sehr gute Restaurants empfohlen. Immer wieder Le Petit Villandry

Für uns waren die Matratzen etwas zu hart, aber das ist Geschmacksache

Cottage con vista sul castello di Villandry e piscina

Grazie a Renata che ci ha ospitato nel suo bel cottage con una splendida vista sul castello di Villandry, è stata una padrona di casa disponibile, parla molto bene anche l'inglese e ci ha dato molti consigli. Il giardino è molto curato e tenuto con grande passione e la piscina è piacevole e ci si può rilassare dopo una bella escursione in bicicletta o a piedi nei dintorni. Renata è inoltre appassionata di cucina e si rende disponibile per preparare la colazione. Grazie per l'ospitalità!

Un magnifique séjour chez Renata, un écrin romantique où le jardin créé par sa maman, fait écho au chateau de Villandry et abrite de délicieux instants de pause sous la treille ou le magnifique Pierre de Ronsard. Un souvenir particulièrement gourmand de ses confitures maison et ses succulentes salades. Un grand merci Renata pour vos conseils, votre dynamisme à répondre à nos demandes et à vos gentilles attentions. Un séjour à la fois reposant, sportif et culturel qui nous a permis de nous ressourcer. Merci encore
