We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Cervette 5.

Hotel Cervette 5 is a family owned boutique hotel in the historic centre of Modena. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was clean, welcoming and comfortable after a day’s sightseeing. Great location for what we wanted during our trip. Would definitely stay here again.

If you want to feel the atmosphere of the downtown life

Location is in the heart of the city Cozy interior. Very kind communication with language barrier.

Receptionist had very limited English. The sliding door in the bathroom is noisy and difficult to operate. The beds are uncomfortable and smaller than my expectations.

Clean, conveniently located next to the Duomo square, friendly staff. Overall a very good value for money.

I missed a small fridge inside the room to store water or anything similar. Other than that everything was super nice

Clean & peaceful stay

I liked staying at this hotel as it was very quiet and peaceful, the stuff was very polite and helpful, they speak English, the room is small but clean. The hotel is located 2-5 minutes from the bars/restaurants/coffee places/pharmacy/ touristic streets, about 5-7 minutes to the stores like Zara, Mango, H&M and others, and about 15 minutes walk from the train station. I also walked all the way to Museum Enzo Ferrari, it took me around 20 minutes.

The only thing I did not like was that the room was dark during the daytime. I was not spending any time in the room during the day, but the windows are facing the wall of another building, so there is almost no light during the day. I had to switch the lights on. So, no view. And please mind that there are no big supermarkets around, only small shops.

Charming hotel at central location. Everything we wanted to do was no more than 15 min away. Staff was really welcoming and helpfull whenever we needed .

Great location, clean and friendly.

The hotel and the room were clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. In advance, I asked for a gluten free breakfast including bread and this was provided. The breakfast was overall good. Room was cleaned every day unless I requested it wasn't. Location is excellent near restaurants, cafes and bars. 15-20 minute from the railways station, entirely manageable. It was quiet, my window wasn't towards the street so no traffic noise (also the street is small so there isn't much traffic). Air condition kept the room at a very good temperature.

I stayed in a single room, the cheapest of the hotel. It was still relatively expensive and extremely basic. No decor and the window looked out at another window a metre away. For the price, I would have hoped for a little effort on the decor as it was somewhat depressing. But it was clean, that's the most important thing. I got a peak of the other rooms when they were being cleaned, the decor looked very nice.

Location, staff and cleanliness are superb.

Our room had a particularly sad decor, very cheap, no sense of style. If a room would get a bit of loving of an interior decorator, it would become a fab room.

Five star hotel in Modena Central you must go to.

Loved the small plates at breakfast, location is 2 blocks from the Duomo and the market. Love this hotel. They always go out of their way to make us feel wanted/appreciated. Wish there was one in Bologna!

Not much I can say to this… maybe a better chair in our room as we play cards at night.

Great hotel in the center of Modena

The location of the hotel is perfect and close to a lot of things you'd like to see. The room we stayed in was cozy and nice, with a view to the street. And the bed was comfortable:) The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. In general, we wouls choose this place for our next stays in beautiful Modena.

Simple and does the job. But not terribly comfortable.

Loved the location and the mood at the hotel was very chilled and easy going. The lighting in the rooms was gorgeous and relaxing. And the staff were so helpful.

The bed was incredibly hard. The room was facing the road and was incredibly noisy. The walls were paper thin. And there wasn't much in the room in the way of a kettle or water (but that was available down by reception).

Location-Excellent-Expensive for what offers

The location is excellent next to all of Modena's attractions.Far from train station. The interior decoration of the hotel is beautiful. Big, quiet and beautiful room,but wthout minibar and safe

Check-in is at 2 p.m.I arrived at 12 p.m. and they only let you into the room after 2 p.m. They don't even bother to check if there is a room available. Hotel around 120 euros without elevator (ok,no problems for most of people, there are 2 floors), but without safe and minibar in the room.
