It was a very unique property. They had a wonderful restaurant in another one across the street. We arrived early and we were able to sit down and have a beautiful lunch is an unusual in different setting and I loved everything about it. The morning breakfast was absolutely amazing as well. The views from our room were outstanding. I only wish it wasn’t winter and we could’ve enjoyed more of the outside beauty of the pool and spa area.

I don’t have any complaints in that area. It was an amazing Stay.

Surprisingly pleasant

The location was great. On the top of a mountain overlooking the lake, the views from the room are sublime. The breakfast was also the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been around the world. Also the service was first class. 10/10 definitely. I have to mention Hajar for her professionalism and resolve when it came to the obstacles I faced while on my stay and Yasmina was also of great help and extremely kind. All in all an unforgettable experience. Thank you !!!

The best hotel experience at Como Lake

Everything was wonderful! The view, the staff, the breakfast and sauna. When we were leaving staff gave us a present from the hotel: their homemade pasta! That was so nice!

Highly recommend staying here. You will love it. Very romantic spot!!

First, Yasmine from the hotel was absolutely wonderful! We used all of her recommendations and they were awesome! The view was the most amazing I have ever had from a hotel room. The breakfast was incredible. They brought us a tray of beautiful food and then a menu if we wanted anything else. The restaurant was sensational for all the meals. The hotel is steps away from a beautiful light house with another amazing view. There was a tram that took us back and forth to the town of Como so we had our view and able to explore the town and surrounding towns.

Definitely recommend

Stunning view! The stuff is very nice and welcoming.

We’ve got the room where the smell of cigarettes was present ( we do not smoke). To refresh the air inside the room we opened the window, but there is no mosquito net, so we had a “guest” Also, the hotel offers birthday package service - you can easily choose the surprise, but in my case we came too late in the evening, and I had no idea that hotel offers something like that. Would be nice to be informed in advance about extra services.

Fabulous except for lack of info re. Transport

Amazing location with fabulous views.

Difficult to access. We were not advised how difficult it would be to get up there. Taxis refused to take us and UBER app said Eur60 but the driver made us pay Eur100. I think the property needs to explain this to clients before they arrive. Also should advise to come to Como Lago station. And explain that the funicular does not go all the way to the hotel. We did not know any of this and it made our first day very unpleasant.

Especially during sunset – pure poetry in motion. 🏊 Infinity Pool & Vibes The pool is the real highlight. Whether it’s early morning mist or golden hour glow, every second feels like a scene from a movie. Peaceful, serene, and never overcrowded. 🍽️ Breakfast with a View Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, served on a terrace overlooking the lake. A cappuccino with that view? Heaven. 🛏️ Room & Tranquility The room was simple, clean, and had everything I needed. Most importantly – total peace and quiet. Just nature and birdsong. 🚗 Getting There Yes, the road up is a bit winding and adventurous – but absolutely worth it. Once you’re up there, you’ll never want to leave.

Incredible stay, stunning views and beautiful wine.

If you want a hotel with a stunning view of the lake then this property is a great choice. Waking up and opening the balcony to the lake, having a glass of wine in the pool overlooking and incredible food in the restaurant. The staff are so polite, helpful and go out of their way to make you stay enjoyable. If you have any questions about the local area, how to get around and best things to do ask reception!! They were always happy to answer our questions!

Easier ways to get nice views. Overpriced and more like a 2 star hotel

The property offered spectacular views of lake como and the associated restaurant mamagina was very tasty. Yasmine at the front desk was fantastic offering great recommendations for sightseeing, day trip and eating.

1. The road to the property is extremely difficult to navigate with almost complete 180 degree back and forth turns going up and down a mountain along a road that in many sections is just barely one car wide. This drives adds an extra 20 minutes to any drive you wish to take. I would suggest staying in Como and just taking the funicular to the top for the day for the views. 2. There is no AC and minimal ventilation in the rooms. Not even a fan is available to use if needed. This led to a musty smell in the room and possibly mold on ceiling in bathroom. 3. The rooms offered minimal amenities and for the prices being charged should be overall nicer with linens, toiletries etc. Everything just felt like low quality. 4. Hot/cold water in shower kept going from scalding hot to freezing cold and this happened with almost every shower we took 5. Parking is not reserved for guests and while available be advised if certain spots are taken you will need to pay. 6. Website says they offer free shuttle to/from funicular but we were told it was 5€ per person.

Luxury without pretentions. The team is great. Yacuzi and sauna overseeing Como lake. Excellent restaurant. Clean and spacious rooms. We did regret having stayed only one night.

Take your time to get there. The narrow road (climbing to 900m altitude) can be crowdy. Brunate itself is popular amongst turists.

Real paradise and good service on the top of the mountain

Very good hotel with amiable and helpful staff, and the view is just amazing!!! Unfortunately the pool was closed because of the weather conditions. But even with the rain the sauna and jacuzzi were functioning , what is great !! Good food in the restaurant. The furniture is great, very high quality wood.

1)why jacuzzi only until 19:30? Make please at least 21:00 2) If you don’t have a car it is not easy to get there , I advise that you order the transfer from the funicular station to the hotel (or you can walk 30 minutes up to the top if you are in good physical shape)

Beautiful views from the balcony room. The pool and spa were exceptional, very clean and had an amazing view. The staff was wonderful, special thanks to Giorgia and Magda who were wonderful even before we even got there! Overall, excellent hotel, would recommend. Breakfast was also delicious! Transport service was also very useful!

The room felt a bit hot at night. There was no air conditioning but they offered us a desk fan which helped a bit but would have been more pleasant with an air conditioner.

Great view, friendly staff, get a lake view room!

Hotel Paradiso Como has the best lake view, like they say! The photos you take here are spectacular, and nothing quite like enjoying a vino or 2 or more watching out over lake Como. Room was comfortable.

It’s not close to things to do (which is good if your after a relaxing stay) and the easiest way into town is a 20 minute hike (very steep) and funicular ride.

Great family run hotel - amazing views

Had a lovely time with four nights at Hotel Paradiso. Hotel is family run, it has a lot of heart and the people were super helpful. Use What’s App to connect with them in advance. Rooms were great - high quality beds. Other people have described the view - it will stay with us forever. Getting around require some patience - hotel provides a shuttle to the “Funiculare”, otherwise be prepared to walk. There are a couple of restaurants at the top close to the hotel - we enjoyed all of them. Great people and great food.

If someone needs and AirCon during summer please be aware that there is no AirCon in the rooms not something to bother but just to be aware of when booking.

Can recommend a stay

The view is exceptional! The standard room was way more comfortable than expected. I liked the interior design. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was very friendly.

I didn't like that the pool is next to the outside area of the restaurant - no privacy was given. It could be much more beautiful when the furniture etc would be newer and maybe higher plants next to the pool... Also, I've missed a water kettle in the room. The way to the hotel is also not for everybody:D

My stay at Hotel Paradiso was exceptional - the team at the hotel was so friendly and responsive - even helping us with transport options to Brunate prior to check in. They were also very responsive via email which was helpful, especially as first time travellers to Italy. Everyone at the hotel was also really helpful with travel tip and activities in Brunate. The hotel room was perfect, with beautiful views of Lake Como and exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Paradiso !
