-clean
-quiet area
-the staff helped us with a map and gave us good information for what we can do in Florence
-big room
-very good heating
-all you can need for a bathroom
-the most disappointing thing was the breakfast, not for the selection of the food, but for the lack of it when we arrived to eat. We came at the hour indicated by the host (around 9 am), but we had a big surprise when we saw the plates almost empty. The guests before us finished a big part from the breakfast, but no refill after them - we found some leftovers on plates or in bowls. We asked for some cheese and sombody brought some pieces, but n refill for the rest like ham, salami, eggs , fruits, cakes etc. It was clear that the breakfast existed, but not enough for the rest of the guests.
In the next morning, the same situation - almost empty plates, almost nothing to eat - we asked again for food, they cut very small portions and brought to us and also prepared two eggs.
It was so annoying and disappointing to pay for a service and actually ask for it, even though it was normal to receive it without further comment.
We were thinking that the breakfast is for all guests the same and with the same attention from the host because we didn’t arrive after the mentioned hours.
For us it was one of the main reasons when we choose this B&B.
- the area of the breakfast it is small and for this reason we ate in a “office”, near to the kitchen - not so pleasent.
- it ia located in a building with other neighbors.

Great location, amazing staff, good breakfast, and they get you parking permits for only 6 eur a day, which is convenient. Sometimes can be hard to find parking, so have to drive around a bit. The ceiling is fabulous
Water pressure in the shower is non existent, so takes ages to wash

It was clean
You are given four keys to use to enter the building. I didn’t like how you had to inform the owner of your actions when and when you will not be there for breakfast and the politics he thinks America should go to. He was very nice in the beginning but not so much in the ending. They had a mini split but it was set to winter so we had no air movement and could not open the window for all the mosquitoes that would come in. He said it was a safe area but he made sure our rental car was empty for we went inside.

Cannot recommend this B&B enough! Sara was brilliant during check-in and gave me a detailed overview of the sights I should visit and a list of neighbourhood restaurants (La Scarpetta and a fish restaurant on the corner of the roundabout) which were both great. The location is great - about a 15 minute taxi from the airport or 20/25 mins via tram. The tram station is a 5 minute walk away and it's only 3 stops into the city centre. Even better is the walk down the river to the main sights (if the weather is good enough!).
The room was spacious and a free bottle of red wine was provided on arrival. The towels were soft & fluffy and the bed was very comfortable. There was a USB socket by the bed which came in very useful. I loved the roof terrace and saw a gorgeous sunset over the Duomo on my first night.
Marco and Cristina were very friendly and Marco gave some great recommendations regarding tourist attractions and where to visit both in and around Florence. The breakfast buffet provided a lot of choice: yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, homemade cakes, pastries and fresh juice. The breakfast room is decorated beautifully with original paintings and this adds a lovely sense of character and charm to the building overall. Would 100% return if I am ever in Florence again.
Nothing - a perfect stay. Would definitely return. Thank you Marco and Cristina!

The room was beautiful and spacious, but I had specifically booked a larger one.
The breakfast wasn’t great – quite small – but that’s common in Italy.
The woman wasn’t very polite, but that’s okay for me.
The location is a bit sketchy, but it's okay. Inside, it's beautiful.
A typical Italian neighborhood where regular locals live. Don’t be scared by the outside.

We loved staying here. Cristina is a great host, all her recommendations were top! She took time to give us the locals’ suggestions and I am happy we got to experience more than just the touristic Firenze. The place was very clean (in the real sense of the word from the dictionary, not just okay clean). The location was ok for us as it is just next to the touristy center, a 30 minute walk from the dome. The entire building is historical, the design keeps the character alive.

Beautiful old building with ornate interior painted walls and ceilings. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very accommodating.

We had a very spacious room with beautiful antique furniture and facilities. Marco, our host, was very welcoming and spent a lot of time on our arrival explaining the local area, restaurants and public transport, which was easily accessible approximately 250 metres walk away. He also gave us a great map of Florence and put all the relevant information on it. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented.
The residence (B&B) is on the first floor, up a flight of steps, with no lift. Although this was not an issue for us, it should be taken into consideration for guests with mobility problems.

A short walk from the hustle & bustle of central Florence, this B&B just south of the Arno River is a perfect retreat for that afternoon nap or when you need nighttime silence. Inside the unassuming front doors, you’ll find a quaint yet luxurious domicile with high ceilings, chandeliers, and original frescos dating back ~200 years. The rooms are charming, with decadent furniture, ornate window curtains, and traditional Italian shutters. The wallpaper is necessarily Florentine, flowery and thin, and FYI, so are the walls… but hey, we didn’t mind. Ever wondered what it’s like to have an Italian aunt and uncle? You’ll find out here too. The cute couple will welcome you with helpful suggestions and apologies for talking for your ears off. They even sit down with you and mark out (on a map they supply) everything you could want to see or eat. Every morning, they personally cater the most delightful breakfast too and take your coffee or tea orders with relaxed—yet meticulous—attention to detail. Honestly, it was the meal and conversation we looked forward to most every day. You also have access to a lovely rooftop terrace with a view of the city domes. Almost makes you not want to leave each morning and just spend your time lounging around. Recommend very much.

The room was indeed special, it felt like you are sleeping in a royal palace, beautifully painted. The owner was very kind and offered us a lot of tips about the city.
The breakfast because it was very light.

Great location - close to public transport! The room was beautifully decorated and serviced daily - which was just wonderful to come back to after long days of sightseeing! The breakfast was light but exactly what we wanted and needed inbetween meals of pasta and pizza! The hosts were so very helpful and gave us an amazing insight into Florence and “must-do’s”!!!! Would highly recommended!!!!
If I had to think of a negative - the only thing is that because the building is so beautiful in its historic attributes - we could hear the keys in the old doors when others came and went! However our room had full blackout curtains so we could easily sleep in if needed!

The apartment has everything you need for a short staying. It is 20 minutes walking distance from the city center, 6 minutes to railway station by tram, which is 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
There are few nice restaurants nearby, but the most of them are about 15-20 minutes walking distance.
The breakfast is fine, the host could provide you with all necessary information about the city.
The most enjoyable thing concerning the apartment is an amazing terrace on the roof of the building with stunning view on the Cathedral dome and the city.
Slippers in the apartment would be nice.

Location was easy to reach and with nice instructions how to get there. The hosts were kind, adaptable and helpful! The room was cleaned immaculately! They even kindly allowed us to leave the bags there after a check out, and come back after last 3 hours in the city. Thank you!
Everything was great. It is just an opinion, but breakfast would be even better, if guests had more choices. Other wise, no comments, everthing was nice!

We loved our stay here. The room and facilities were spacious and very comfortable, and the B&B is within walking distance of the main sights in Florence, conveniently located by the Arno promenade. But above all, we appreciated the hospitality of our hosts.

Stayed 3 nights in their ensuite room for 2 pax. The charming and friendly owners make staying in Florence absolutely a pleasure.
Cristina and Marco got in touch prior to our stay to ensure we know our way to the B&B as well as around Florence. They offered to get tickets to the museum. Marco was there to welcome us when we arrived. He provided us with the local recommendations for restaurants and many tips on sightseeing. Food recommendations were great and the bus tickets that we purchased on our behalf made it convenient for us to get around town. Breakfast spread is of good quality and sufficient variety. Items are replenished very quickly. Our room is huge and comfortable. Love the thick towels and hot showers on a cold January.
The supermarkets, Esselunga or Conrad City, are located within 5 mins walk. Walking to the major attractions allowed us to enjoy the Arno river from many angles. It was enjoyable staying here with the happy, friendly, thoughtful and charming owners.
Would love it if the wifi was stronger. However, it is common in most places that I visited.

The location of the Apartment is very good. It’s in front of a Bus station. Within 5-10 minutes you can reach the city center by bus. If you want to walk you need around 20-25 minutes to the cathedral. The rooms where very clean and you get free water every day. During the day you can go the rooftop on the apartment, where you have a great city view. The breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. You can ask him everything and he has a huge knowledge about the city.
