Everything was spotless, the lovely lady who runs it was very helpful and even did my breakfast early to suit me. Had a nice chat with her at breakfast and it was a great way to start to the day. Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area

The room and complete venue were beautifully arranged and decorated. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was absolultely outstanding

Unfortunatly the noise from the street was quite loud. Luckily it´s located in a small village so that there is not so much traffic during night time.

Great value and an exeptional experience

The whole experience was exceptional. It was a last minute booking and within 1 hour I had contact from the premesis to confirm arrive time and to arrange everything. The hostess met me at the door and was very welcoming. She explained everything and showed me to the room which looked great. The bed was comfortable. The room is relatively big for a single occupancy room and has everything you need - they even have Barry's Tea which is a big plus as far as i'm concerned. The bathroom is compact and perfectly functional. The breakfast was exceptional and great attention to detail and you are greeted with a very friendly welcome and the food was cooked to perfection. A very pleasant experience overall and would 100% return again.

A very nice B&B right in the middle of town.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, nicely appointed with view of mountains. Daphne was a most helpful hostess with recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was excellent.

Exceeded my expectations.

From start to finish this B&B was top notch. Daphne's son showed me to my room. What a gorgeous young gentleman. Everything was incredible. I felt totally safe as a solo traveller. Daphne was extremely accommodating. The decor is amazing. The room temperature perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The whole house is spotless and the delicious breakfast set me up for the day. I would highly recommend it and I will be back.

We loved the rooms, they were spacious, clean and full of all the necessary amenities. The fireplace room downstairs was simply delightful as well and a perfect refuge after our rainy walk into town. The staff members were generous with their time and extremely hospitable. The breakfast in the morning was so delicious and a perfect way to end our short stay here.

Fabulous place to stay with great breakfast and a beautiful garden

Stirabout Lane is a family run B&B with a surprise garden at the rear. The entrance is what we call “bald face” as in you open the door to the street. However the property is long…. With the most amazing huge garden at the back. I was going to enjoy soaking up the sun and enjoying the garden however it poured with rain. The breakfast was amazing and cooked perfectly (whatever you chose). There is a guest lounge room with television, games, books and very peaceful.

The blinds on the window were broken but we managed to figure how to close them. That’s it really!

Comfortable and heartwarming stay

Very clean B&B, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They have free WiFi and breakfast included. The owner was very helpful each day she asked what I was up to and helped me find a bus or train I need to take to Dublin. They have a lovely garden there too.

Wonderful

This B&B is very unassuming from the street but once you enter, it is exceptional. Absolutely charming, wonderful attention to detail, exceptionally clean. The fresh cut flowers in our bedroom really put it over the top. The garden is gorgeous. We had two rooms in the back building - all were happy

It was pretty perfect. This was a stop over so I can’t speak to what the town had to offer. But if you’re in the area and you need a nice clean place to stay, Daphne is a wonderful host.

Our favorite B&B in Ireland!

This was our favorite place to stay in Ireland. Daphne is so kind and full of positive energy, very welcoming. The room was so cosy and cute and the bathroom was so fancy. We loved the tea set in our room, the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, many options to choose from. The whole place looks and feels so much better in real life than in the photos. We were sad we were only staying for that one night.

Most welcoming and charming B&B in all of Ireland

Our hostess met us at the door and very kindly checked us in making us feel most welcome. The room we stayed in was adorable and very clean. We were provided a delicious breakfast in the morning and it remains the best we’ve had in Ireland. The grounds and inside atmosphere were lovely and peaceful. I 100% recommend this B&B and would stay here again in the future.
