Nice and comfy hostel, really closed to the Glendalough visitor centre. The female dormitory was big and clean: the hostel has a lot of space, you can find here large and clean kitchen and canteen. I was there for an excursion in the Wicklow mountains, I met a lot of trekkers like me.
The breakfast is a bit overpriced.

Great location, good facilities.
The shower would not turn off and was noisy so we had to leave early in the morning. Staff member in morning said we have had problems with the showers all week!

Staff was amazing. Welcoming and friendly. The public facilities are clean and well taken care of. The kitchen is well equipped.
The shower in room 15 (mixed 10 bed dorm) is a mere trickle. We only stayed for one night, but I can imagine this to be unpleasant when you're staying for longer. Curtains and poles had been torn off the walls in room 15, but we arrived after dark and left at dawn...so not a problem for us...but again, in summer this is a different story.
There's almost no storage in the room...nowhere to hang a coat, and the amount of sockets would be an absolute challenge with a full 10 bed dorm.
