Disappointed. Wanted a quiet place to stay to get a good nights sleep
Proximity to where I was going
My room was cold. The rooms were noisy with people walking up and down all night. Noise outside too. Also workers came in at 7:30am onwards and were drilling and hammering as they are adding new rooms

Generally comfortable stay, good food, helpful staff but some cleaning required
We booked two rooms. One bedroom was as expected with comfortable bed, tea & coffee facilities. TV worked OK. Quieter than expected overnight. The other bedroom was much larger, especially the extra king size comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant. Dining Room was lovely and very helpfully accommodate us at a table on a very busy Valentine's night. Food was very good (we had a selection of starters or main course before attending a function later).
One bedroom space was tight, especially the very small ensuite bathroom with the door not far from knees when using the toilet. Grouting inside the shower was not clean (some mould) although the shower itself functioned OK. Initially, both bedrooms were cool due to the fact that heating is underfloor only and corridor outside was very cold because of open windows during construction. Car park space was very tight but probably expected due to international rugby matches on TV.

    Lovely stay
We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff were all absolutely lovely and very helpful. Restaurant and bar also very good and would recommend.
Only suggestion would be to have more plugs in the room. There was 2 of us in a twin room and we struggled to charge mobiles as only one plug between us. Other than that, no issues whatsoever.

    Expensive, for what we got.
Good sized carpark at rear, good room facilities for making tea/coffee, the bed was comfortable.there was underfloor heating in the bathroom. Good restaurant and bar downstairs.
The room needs modernising/updating. There were broken tiles in the shower, and there were a lot of items plugged into the sockets with adaptors. For the price. I would've expected more, No breakfast served on-site.

    Tiny room
Bar, food and staff were good and a nice location. Great outdoor area.
The room was tiny. The double bed was one of the smallest we ever slept in. The bathroom was small beyond belief. Cramped and claustrophobic. The room was also way too warm and it was a suffocating experience overall.

We love staying here. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Would really recommend the food.
It was great to be upgraded to a bigger double room on our second night. I originally thought our first room on the first night was a small double but it ended up being a twin. We managed no big deal.
Cold water in the first room. Staff were so helpful.
