Clean and comfortable but overpriced for no breakfast or heating on winter mornings.

Hosts were very friendly and everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were nice and warm at night. Dining and kitchen area was fully equipped and we were made very comfortable using it. We also felt totally free to come in and out as we needed throughout our stay.

There was no breakfast included for a place advertised as bed and breakfast. There was no hot tap water at sinks and no heating in the morning when staying at the end of December, while our group included a 70yo and a 3yo - wouldn't have been such an issue on warmer days, though. Unfortunately, we could also hear snoring throughout the night from each of the rooms, which was quite disruptive for us all.

The rooms were at one end of the occupied house so you had some privacy but I personally did not feel very relaxed in the environment

Home away from home.

The facilities were so clean and lovely. We felt right at home straight at home after many days of driving. Anne Marie and Matt made feel so welcome and at ease. Highly recommend.

Cosy cottage stay, great location, excellent host, cute dogs ❤️

Rita was an excellent host who gave us a tour of the property on arrival. Location was great around a 5 minute drive and 25 minute walk. Room was small but comfortable, basic amenities in room as you would expect in a BnB, kettle and other facilities available in the kitchen. Bedroom door lockable. Shared bathroom was clean and basic toiletries provided, bath and shower present. Molly and Louie (two small dogs) were so sweet and we enjoyed their company. Rita made us breakfast (also catered for my vegetarian partner). Had lovely conversation and Rita gave us a few ideas for the rest of our trip. 10/10 would recommend for anyone. Thank you Rita for being so welcoming and making our stay pleasant and comfortable.

Walls slightly thin, could hear guests next door snoring. We slept well either way so didn't bother us. Note to other guests to park in front of the first garden in front of the black door, main entrance to the home, facing away from the road.

Lovely, clean, adorable cottage

Rita and Matt were super lovely, breakfast was yum and the property is gorgeous and have two really cute dogs! Bed was big, bathroom was spacious

For us, we didn’t have a car and it was hard for us to get around as public transportation isn’t great around there. Not a problem if you have a car!

Fun, chatty a real opportunity to catch up with all the local news.

Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. We expected self catering however the hosts had laid out an excellent selection of yoghurts, cereals and drinks. Very welcome.

I would have preferred an en suite bathroom however the bathroom although not en suite was excellent in every way. The location being right on the side of a very busy road close to Wicklow town was not quite as expected.

I accidentally booked the wrong dates, but the hosts were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me sort everything out. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The place has such a comfortable and relaxed feel. A lovely experience overall.

Comfortable shared space stay

Easy to find and host was welcoming. The bed was comfortable and restaurants were only a half hour walk away.

The breakfast setup was unusual - one morning it was help yourself (including cooking but it was a shared kitchen with others so this didn’t seem practical) and the next morning the host cooked eggs for us (I was planning on trying to make myself porridge but then couldn’t).

Great hosts and location

Great location as easy walk or drive into town. Meticulously clean and comfortable. Matt & Rita are lovely hosts. Great conversationists and warmly shared their home with us. Especially appreciated that good breakfast options were presented and we were able to cook our own breakfast. Was a pleasant and healthier change from the hotels we had been staying. Loved the Usher Garden...thank you Matt!

Amazing place to relax

I want to thank Rita and Matt for the hospitality, Rita made a great breakfast and they were both great host. Matt made our stay enjoyable due to his humour and compliments. The facilities are clean, the home is beautiful, and the couple were pleasant. I will be staying there again.

It was small, no private bathroom, no Tv, I come to the room and left straight away. Have to open gate to get in which was not comfortable it was literally coming to a strangers house and getting a kids room

We had such a beautiful stay! The hosts are so lovely and accommodating. Everything was very clean and tidy. Great spot to stay if you're heading to a wedding or exploring Wicklow town.

Lovely stay in beautiful home with amazing hosts but needed a few more facilities for us.

The hosts Rita and Matt were the most accommodating and helpful people sharing their home with us, they couldn't do enough for you, the location was good as it was near to my family we went for a family party, although you would have to drive everywhere. Matt and Rita helped us with umbrella when raining, offered us lifts if we were stuck and were generally very helpful. Matt and Rita offered toast and cuppa each morning if wanted. We did have it one day of our stay. Gorgeous bedding and pillows, comfortable bed in ensuite.

Advert for accommodation could be clearer that this is a family home and some rooms need to share bathroom with the hosts and other bedrooms, i thought it was a stand alone property when i booked two rooms thinking we would share the bathroom with each other not the family bathroom. The en-suite bedroom needs a blind on the window as beautiful curtains block the radiator heat and need privacy instead of closing curtains all the time. The rooms are lacking a TV, there isn't anywhere to relax and watch TV as this is the family home and Rita and Matts living room, would help significantly when wanting to just relax in room, as no tv or radio. Rita and Matt offered us use of their kitchen to make drinks whenever we wanted but again felt a tea tray and kettle in room would make things much more comfy as you need to be fully dressed before going to the family kitchen to make a drink and you don't always want to do that. Bed in second bedroom sunk into middle, Son said very comfortable as he was on his own but he did roll into middle, not ideal if two people in bed.

The space was clean and the owners were attentive and communication with them was easy.

There was no information anywhere that you are sharing the space and bathroom with the owners. It didn’t feel like we had much privacy as the walls were thin and they were down the hall. The bed was rather uncomfortable as it sunk in the middle so we would roll towards each other all night.
