Great location, spacious all the facilities you would need

All good

kitchen facilities were excellent, the little extras such as sugar, salt, oil and vinegar (even though we didn't;t sue them) make such visits much easier if you want oto cook a little something without needing to do a full shop.

without standing on a bench or step couldn't really see the sea, hence the name "Seaview" is a little misleading. Couldn't get any BBC channel to work on the TV (though we didn't ask host for help)

It was perfect for the relaxing stay we were looking for. Very comfortable and the host, Ian, was very helpful. Everything we needed was provided and Ian even called to ask if we needed any recommendations for food or activities in the area. I was very impressed with this property

A bit damp but it was the dead of winter! So quite wet and humid outside:)

The sheets, carpet and kitchen were surfaced clean. There were fresh towels and cleaning supplies. We briefly spoke to both owners are they were nice. We felt safe in the property. It was close enough to walk into town.

I was a bit disappointed that the property is listed as having an ocean view, but the windows are facing the main house (you can only see the ocean if you are outside the property and have a peek above the bushes). The mould in the bathroom tiles was really unpleasant as some tiles looked like they could fall off at any time (did not match the photos uploaded). There were quite a few cobwebs on the walls as well as spiders (being surrounded by shrubs and trees, I understand some spiders come in, but the webs could've been cleaned before we arrived). (the pictures I'm sharing were taken on departure day, the beds were well made when we arrived).

Ian and his family were brilliant, the location was central to all the activities we had planned . Bonus points for Fred, Luke and Max. We are already planning to revisit. If I could I would give 100/10

Privacy in your own little cottage. Great for two people. Had everything we needed.

Could use new pillows and towels. Need a top sheet for the duvet (info for north American friends) Also must like cute little dogs cause they live there too and love a pet

Good hot water. Liked having netflix and sky on a decent TV. Good lo action for getting onto main roads/N11.

Too much furniture as cabin was only suitable for 2 people and the extra bunk beds resulted in an inadequate layout ie couldn't view tv from sitting on sofa (until moved around). Bathroom needs updating.

Check-in was really easy and smooth. The bed is comfortable. Heating is adequate for the space. Nice warm shower. All the basics are available.

The cleanliness! There was dirty cups in the cupboard and a very old dishcloth with multiple holes in it and dust gathering for more than just a few days. Also, the sea view is a bit disappointing. You can see it if you stand in a certain area in the yard but it should not be a selling point for this property. The WiFi didn't seem to work - the signal was very poor so we couldn't use it at all. It had all the basics, but I think it is definitely overpriced for what it offers.

Der Empfang von Ian und den 3 kleinen Hunden war sehr herzlich. Ian hat uns gleich viele Tipps zum Einkaufen, Essen gehen, Pubs und umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Das Häuschen hatte alles, was man brauchte. Die Lage ist auf einem Hügel, in die Stadt sind es fußläufig ca. 20 min, nach dem Pubbesuch etwas länger, da bergauf 😂

Die Menge und Stellung des Mobiliars könnte praktikabler gestaltet werden.

Das Hilltop Seaview hat folgende Kriterien angegeben: 1. Größe der Unterkunft 50 qm. Nachgemessen hat die Unterkunft nur 25 qm + einen Aussensitzplatz. 2. Es wird Meerblick angegeben. Von keinem Standort der Unterkunft ist das Meer zu sehen. Lediglich auf dem Weg zur Unterkunft kann man, sofern man größer als 1,70 m ist, über eine Hecke das Meer etwas sehen. 3. Es ist ein Blick auf eine Sehenswürdigkeit angegeben. Von keinem Standort der Unterkunft ist eine Sehenswürdigkeit sichtbar. 4. Es ist das Kriterium "am Strand" angegeben. Der nächste Strand ist fußläufig über 45 Minuten entfernt. 5. Es ist angegeben, das Appartement sei "Allergikerfreundlich". Es gibt einen Teppich, Vorhänge, viele verwinkelte Ecken und in der Küche riecht es nach Schimmel und einer der Gegenstände dort klebte am Küchenschrank fest und war von außen mit einer fettigen Staubschicht versehen. Das Gefrierfach im Kühlschrank war nicht nutzbar, da es total zugeeist war. Unter der Eisschicht konnte man diverse Gefrierprodukte erkennen. In der angeblich ausgestatteten Küche gab es u.a. noch nicht einmal 2 Kaffeetassen. Eine Herdplatte zum Kochen gab es separat auf dem Schrank stehend. Allerdings konnte man diese Herdplatte mangels Platz auf der Arbeitsfläche gar nicht nutzen. Der Mülleimer steht direkt neben dem Bett statt in der Küche. Die Mängel wurden schon oft hier kritisiert. Leider ist der Vermieter nicht in der Lage, daran etwas zu ändern.
