The staff, David, very friendly. I travelled alone and felt safe in hotel.
The breakfast was very limited but it did the job v first thing into went to nearby restaurant for food breakfast.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel La Scaletta. The rooms were spotless and well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is ideal, close to the beach and near the archaeological site of Ostia Antica.

good breakfast, friendly, clean, close to the sea
it would have been nice to prepare coffee/tee in the room
the tourist tax (6 € pp) is maybe the highest I ever paid for one night - but that's not the hotel

The view
sewer smell in bathroom was very strong and not remedied by opening window
