Beautiful homey feeling that overlooked the square and was right across the street for the beach. Loved how it was decorated. The woman running the place was friendly and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend it.

A Perfect Stay at Barocchetto Romano – 10/10! My stay at Barocchetto Romano was absolutely wonderful! This charming bed and breakfast is in the perfect location, just 12 minutes door to door from FCO airport, and yet it feels like a peaceful escape. The owners were exceptional, communicating promptly and graciously answering every question we had. The property itself is lovely and just a two-minute walk from the pier, where I experienced one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. The nightlife in the area was vibrant, and the restaurants right downstairs served some of the best food I had in Rome. I can’t recommend Barocchetto Romano enough. It was comfortable, welcoming, and in the perfect spot for exploring. 10/10, I would definitely book this location again!

I was surprised to find that the toilet and shower were disconnected from the room. Apparently this was written as the land lady sent me a screenshot but it was in Italian. Anyways, room is decent, there was so much noise during the night from a club nearby and the people on the street, if you need to use the toilet during the night take in account you need to go out from your room to the public area.

This is a very special place very good settelt in the hart of Lido Ostia the views are excellent the location is the best. Very very nice staff Perla and Ricardo giffing you the hospitality you need there breakfast is yummy scrambled eggs and bacon ❤️ the tosti ham and cheese ❤️ the rooms wel settelt and clean. It was great to stay here. Location was amazing. It was mosquitoes season the only thing that didn't like but if you are close to the ocean, it very common. Ricardo makes the best breakfast and Pilar is a great host who resolves everything in 3 seconds. They were very inviting and I was delighted to stay there.

Loved our stay at Barocchetto Romano. It was easy to arrange an additional airport transfer via car through the owner. The property was in a perfect location and had a beautiful balcony area. Breakfast was amazing as well. The owners are super kind and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Felt like walking into heaven. So quaint. The perfect way to walk into our first night in Italy. Right near the airport. Go here before going into Rome. This B&B is right above amazing restaurants with the best pasta. And we woke up and went right to the beach across the street. Highly recommend to all. Next time I plan to stay more than one night.

When we first opened the door, the stairs were daunting but after getting our heavy bags up to the room level, all was good, very good. Our room was a quite comfortable and our bathroom, while private was down the hall. Breakfast was wonderful and is seven indoors when chilly and outdoors when warm. There is a large purpose living space overlooking a pedestrian area. The recreations and shops all around. You are one block from the water and the beach. A great place to stay and close to FCO.

We stayed at the Barocchetto Romano after our cruise, and before going to the airport for a flight back home. This was a perfect place to close off our vacation. First, the location is wonderful. Moments from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and shopping, all in a pedestrian area (so no cars passing by our building!). Our hosts were charming, and very accommodating. We arrived early, and they were kind enough to let us drop off our bags so we could explore the neighbourhood – this may not always be an option, but ask, they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The unit itself is reached by stairs. They have a secure door at the bottom of the stairs, as well as one at the top – we appreciated this sense of security, although the neighbourhood is so nice I don’t see any need for concern. Once through the door at the top of the stairs you come to a marvelous terrace, with lots of seating, and even an ocean view. When we weren’t out exploring, or sleeping, we spent much of our time up there with a glass of wine, and meeting some wonderful guests staying in another room. There is a well equipped kitchen, with lots of treats available (nominal cost). They had a great coffee machine, and served a fantastic breakfast. The décor is very charming, and you feel at home rather than feeling you are in a hotel. I would not hesitate to stay again; fantastic hosts, excellent location near the beach and the airport, and perfect place to just unwind. Highly recommended A

I liked the property and the staff. Perla was very helpful and gave good suggestions. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping area right there. The only problem I had was with the bathroom that was outside of the room and we had to cross the living room to get access. The description said we had a "private bathroom " which I thought was joined with our bedroom. But we were the only one using it and we had a key and it was cleaned and supplied with fresh towels every day, so we managed.

Absolutely loved my stay. Perla was so nice. She provided a wonderful array of breakfast options. Everything was well kept and very clean. The location had a nice balcony— it was literally on top of a shopping area and was across the street from the beach. When I get to visit Rome again, I will definitely try to book there again.

It was fine for the one night we spent in Ostia. Homey and central, close to great restaurants, beach and pedestrian area. Getting in touch with the hosts was a little challenging, if you don’t have a European phone make sure to connect with them in advance to organize check in.

I would have to agree that it’s a very nice place to stay. The owner is fabulous and she’s always willing to assist. The metro is only 10 min walk away from this place which takes you to central Rome. Overall, I have enjoyed my visit to this place. Also, there are some good restaurants around this place. In fact , one is right below this place which became my favourite spot for dinner each night (3 day stay). If you’re planning to rent a scooter from central Rome then make sure it speed goes past 70 KM.

Central location but terrace only had a small view of the sea as shown in their ad. Most of the terrace looked on buildings.The owner tried to tell us that it was $60 euros for transportation to the airport whereas we knew we that previously we had a cab for 30. I insisted on a cab and did get a drive to the airport for 30 euros with excellent service.

We had a great stay at Perla’s place in Ostia. She went above and beyond to arrange a smooth check-in, provided us an upgraded room, oh and the view is amazing from the property. Walking distance to anything in Ostia and the beach, and just 10 min to the airport. We hope to stay here again our next time around Rome!

Loved this place. The property is charming, the location is prime, the decor extremely tasteful; super shabby-chic with a touch of whimsy. Perla is super amiable, detail-oriented and thorough. The room is nicely appointed, and every amenity carefully planned. The breakfast plentiful. We wished we could have stayed longer and may just need to go back! Highly recommend.
