It was in a great location to access restaurants and the beach.
The beds were hard by my standards, but others may like that.

We were a late arrival. We followed the instructions provided by email and were satisfied with the ease of use. The guest house is about €35 from Fiumicino airport and there are many restaurants in the area. For me the bed was too soft but others might enjoy! We left too early so did not have a chance to have breakfast. Our host helped call a taxi for us which was most appreciated!

Proximity to the beachfront and piazza in evening with plenty of restaurants and some shopping.
Clean, comfortable and as described.
Complicated entry system, two separate sites need access to enter the gate and building. With long drives and busy days of travel, it was easy to get a bit confused late evening trying to get into the apartment.
I recommend -Do your homework first and have these sites ready to access prior to entering the area. However, in saying that the host would likely have accommodated if I didn’t have internet access, as he was very accessible for any information I requested after booking the apartment.

The location is great for the beach, it's a minute or two walk to the front and all the restaurants / bars etc. The owners are very helpful: we had a few problems getting in and with the room and he was super responsive and appeared within minutes to help in person. Nice shared kitchen area and a small terrace looking out over the busier parts of Ostia.
Check-in was a little tricky: they use the Vikey online app to remotely open gates etc on first entry and that didn't work particularly well. Some of the facilities are a bit run down, there was an open gap in our shower wall and the room lock needed fixing. The street noise was pretty loud at night from the window - you're close enough to some live music bars etc that go until a bit past 11pm that it can be tricky with a younger child.
