Room in the flat

One Room with bedroom on the first floor in the flat the near of coast in Ostia. Breakfast = ticket in next door cafeteria (croissant + cappuchino). From 3 pm till 11 am.

You live with home owner, just thin door is split you room. no duvet cover was given. Cold, air conditioner can give some heat

Good value for where it's at but research it first

Could have been cleaner than it was. Advertises parking but in reality, it is a beach town and parking is terrible. I had to park in a garage 5 blocks away and ended up paying $38 euros to park overnight thus after spending an hour trying to park near the apartment. We wouldn't have had a problem with it if we had known up front about the parking situation but the description was misleading.

Awesome small flat in Lido di Ostia, 30 minutes from Rome

The host, Fabio, was very quick to respond to all emails. The location was perfect for access to the shops, restaurants, night market, beach, and train station to Rome. Finding the building and Street parking was a bit difficult at first, but asked a helpful local person. Initially, had to park the car 200 metres away, around the corner. The street parking is free. We used the numbered parallel parking spots, just park and walk away. The next morning, at 7 am, moved the car to front of the building. Very comfortable bed, air conditioning was nice. Altogether had a wonderful stay, and would happily return again.

Shower drain very slow, to point of overflowing, causing the floor get a bit wet.

Amazing!

The room is in the centre of Ostia! Just a street away from the beach and a 6 minute walk away from the metro station which will bring you to Rome in +/- 35 minutes. Everyday, the room is cleaned!! So when you come back from a long day outside, it wil be clean and organised again. The breakfast is served at the coffeebar nextdoor. You will get a croissant and a cappucino. Both really nice and tasty. Contact with the owner is fast, so if there is something, they will fix is it or help you.

I didn't find this place quickly, but the host helped me by giving instructions and even went to meet me outside. I stayed only for night, but it was comfortable enough. It's near bus station and coastside. I also enjoyed my bakery for breakfast. Bar was around the corner, and it was convenient that it works from early morning, because I had to leave early. Room is clean and big enough for one person. The host provided toiletries. He also provided sweets and chips as welcoming gift. And it was a kettle in the room, which was really important to me.

Die Schlüsselübergabe fand per Tresor statt-perfekt. Infos per WhatsApp. Tee und Snacks standen bereit.

Bei dem Parkplatz handelt es sich um öffentlichen Parkraum! Wer gr. Wert auf ein Frühstück legt (Wurst, Käse, Ei, etc.) wird hier leider enttäuscht. Der Kaffee und das Croissant waren zwar lecker (bei einem Imbiss an der Ecke), entsprechen aber nicht ganz meinen Erwartungen.

Camera ben tenuta e pulita. Posizione centrale. Colazione ottima al bar vicino all’edificio(brioche+caffè). In stanza erano presenti snack e acqua compresi.

In generale la tassa di soggiorno ad Ostia è veramente folle pari a 6 euro al giorno (non è colpa della struttura ovviamente).

Da localização central em Ostia, a metros do pontile e conveniente tanto para o centro de Roma quanto para o aeroporto. Dos snacks e saquinhos de chá disponíveis para os hóspedes.

Vi hade 6 bra dagar här.

Läget var grymt bra (nära stranden och matställen) och stället/rummet var litet men bra. ACn var toppen! Här kan vi båda tänka oss att bo igen. 👍🏻 Bra att veta! Huset är väldigt lyhört och du kan höra musiken från det närliggande nöjesfält men det var inte jättestörande enligt oss. Frukosten bestod av en kall cappuccino och en croissant på ett närliggande café. Inte gott enligt oss men andra kanske gillar det. Det är inte daglig städning. Vi fick städat 2-3 gånger under en vecka. De tog extra betalt för någon statlig skatt, 2 euro, förutom den obligatoriska turistskatten på 6 euro per person och natt.

Punto forte della stanza B&B messa a disposizione degli ospiti è l'ingresso totalmente indipendente, rispetto all'abitazione dei proprietari. Per capirci, presso di loro si fa giusto il check-in: dopo di che si accede alle camera (unità a piano terra), da un portoncino attiguo (stesso cortile condominiale) e da quel momento, si può entrare ed uscire indipendentemente ed a qualsiasi ora, Come altri hanno sottolineato, c'è una porta interna (ovviamente sempre chiusa) che collega la stanza B&B al resto dell'abitazione: ma credetemi, non è certo un problema, sapere che dall'altra parte i proprietari hanno il proprio soggiorno e che in orari diurni, fanno la loro vita (voi, fatevi la vostra). Stanza finemente rifinita, bagno funzionale (unica pecca, la porta della doccia: ideale sarebbe una apertura/chiusura a soffietto, così da avere subito accesso al porta asciugamani), letto comodo ed adeguato a due persone. La colazione, noi l'abbiamo sempre fatta al bar più vicino, dei due a disposizione (uscivamo sempre presto, la mattina e loro aprono prima delle otto): compresi nella quota soggiorno ci sono caffè o cappuccio e cornetto (se si vuole altro, c'è da riconoscere una differenza: non vedo dove sia il problema): personale al banco simpatico ed affabile, ottimi i cornetti. Ringraziamo infine Fabio, per la pazienza e la disponibilità dimostrate il primo giorno, al telefono... quando non riuscivamo a trovare l'entrata di casa sua :)

Purtroppo, i rumori condominiali della prima mattina ci sono. La porta di accesso alla stanza, in legno antico da' sull'androne del palazzo... e pure il portone condominiale è in legno antico. Insonorizzare non credo sia facile e risolutivo: a meno che un giorno, non vengano sostituiti entrambi. Non vale come critica, ma come mera constatazione e suggerimento disinteressato: il soggiorno è stato comunque piacevole e gradito
