We loved the location on the lake and the lovely small beach. The room was very well designed, modern and with a good bathroom. The hotel interior is generally very pleasant.

The truth is we didn’t like quite a number of things. Personnel were not rude but totally indifferent. The only person who was really friendly is a bell boy at the parking lot. There is no hostess in the restaurant hence no one to greet you at breakfast and you look for table yourself. Breakfast itself is scarse: you would expect such variety at a simple 3-2 star hotel. Which would be perfectly fine if we didn’t pay over 400 euros per room (we were staying at superior room category). One has rather high expectations having paid this kind of money. We went once to dinner to discover food was mediocre and the salad bar just a joke. The most ironic there was no trout on the menu in Forelle hotel! Nobody works at the beach either. You help yourself with the sun bed and umbrellas and if need a kayak you run to reception to catch the receptionist. Each guest is given one beach towel for a whole duration of the stay! How about that?! Internet is very slow, impossible to watch videos and you have to log on every 24 hours. The hotel is cutting corners left and right: faucet water is offered in a jar in the room instead of a bottle of mineral water and there are no toiletries at all! Soap and shampoo come in a container attached to the wall, can you imagine that for the price we paid! The container was empty the moment we checked in, and we had to ask for it to be filled 3 times 3 different people! I had to go to buy a proper shampoo + hair conditioner. Normally for this price you expect elaborate designer stuff. I was also astonished to have inherited half roll of toilet paper from the previous guest! The owners have saved even on this. There was only one waiter at the restaurant who also had to serve as a barman. The person was clearly exhausted and stressed and the guest could see this and hear his supervisor scolding him Instead of helping. You had to be really lucky to be able to order a soup: it was only served from 12.00 till 13.45.

The hotel has a renovated and a “traditional» part. The renovated rooms are very good. Nice clean design, etc. The old rooms are smelly and ugly. All in all the hotel is overpriced since it boasts a premium location on the lake shore. Very poor restaurant in terms of food. However, the restaurant rooms are very well decorated. One must note very decent breakfast.

We had a wonderful time!

This was our third visit and we enjoyed it very much again. Breakfast and dinner were served on the terrace right next to the lake and were excellent. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. We lived in a newly re-furbished room, which was very stylish and functional and had a terrace with a full view of the whole lake. Thank you for the wonderful time! We hope to be back soon.

Gute Zeit in schöner Lage. Die Küche hat Reserven.

Die Lage ist unfassbar schön, direkt am See. Das Haus ist schon etwas historisch mit einer langen Geschichte und schön eingerichtet. Die meisten Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich um die Gäste bemüht.

Das Angebot beim Frühstück war etwas eintönig, jeden Tag exakt genau das gleiche Angebot, außer am Sonntag , da gab es auch noch Lachs. Wir waren eine ganze Woche zusammen mit Reisenden einer Busgruppe im Hotel, da war teilweise einiges schnell vergriffen. Nachdem die Gruppe abgereist war, war etwas mehr Angebot. Das Abendessen wurde gut angerichtet und freundlich serviert. Die Menge war etwas gering, die Suppen waren wirklich ein Schwachpunkt. Das könnt Ihr als 4 Sterne Haus definitiv besser. Die Sauna war meist außer Betrieb. Schade. Die Parkplatzlage ist etwas knapp. Das Zimmer war sehr warm.

Der Speisesaal hat die Atmosphäre eines Bahnhofrestaurant. Das Servicepersonal speziell im Restaurant- und Barbereich war nicht aufmerksam und teilweise rüde im Umgangston. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht, überteuert.

Wunderbarer Ort für erholsamen Urlaub

Das Hotel hat eine traumhafte Lage direkt am See mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Auch sehr ruhig zumindest während unserem Aufenthalt Ende September. Unser Superior Zimmer mit Seesicht war riesengross, alles neu und modern mit grossem Balkon. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Wanderungen sowie Wassersport Aktivitäten. Sehr gediegene Räumlichkeiten auch Bar und Speisesaal. Frühstück Buffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Da wir vor allem in der Natur weilten, haben wir den Wellness Bereich nicht genutzt.

Top Hotel in bester Lage mit super Mitarbeiter

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage direkt am See und ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Nocki-Konzert entfernt. Das Hotel bietet kostenfreie Parkplätze. Der Verleih der E-Bikes funktionierte einwandfrei und die Räder sind in einem guten Zustand. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist hervorragend.

Mooie ligging, goed personeel, heel schoon maar het hotel schiet voor deze prijs in luxe te kort.

Het hotel ligt mooi direct aan het meer. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Je kunt dichtbij het hotel parkeren. Het ontbijt was erg goed. En veel jonge bediening die het allemaal heel goed doen!

De prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is niet goed. Wij waren er 3 nachten en als je dan bijna € 400 per nacht betaald verwacht je op sommige punten toch iets anders. Het hotel heeft geen airco. De kamer heeft geen koelkastje. (dit wisten we vooraf natuurlijk) De föhn is de goedkoopste variant en wordt gevaarlijk heet. ''s avonds is er bv geen ijskoffie of ijs te verkrijgen. 's-middags ook geen hapje voorbij de borrel. (er zou veel personeel ziek zijn) De menukaart van het hotel is heel klein. En als je dan uitcheckt en bijna € 1.400 afrekent dan krijg je bij het afscheid een geschenk uitgereikt; een papieren zak met één broodje. (we waren met twee) Ik snap natuurlijk ook wel dat dit allemaal erg luxe-geklaag is; op het schandalige af. Maar de volgende bestemming was Hotel Schloss Mittersill. Alles perfect daar met dezelfde prijs. Mooie suite, airco, koelkastje, groot terras, sauna, zwembad én inclusief diner. Dat is dan een groot contrast. Dus de naam mag veranderd worden van Hotel Forelle Superior in Hotel Forelle.

Mooie locatie met helaas wel een paar minpuntjes

Locatie is prachtig, direct aan het meer gelegen. Kamer ruim, mooi en schoon. Badkamer goed uitgerust. Personeel in het restaurant was zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk.

We betaalden voor een dure kamer met zeezicht, maar keken tegen een dak met zonnepanelen en een lichtkoepel aan, daarachter pas het meer. Als je in een stoel zat, zag je niets van het meer. Porties bij het diner waren zeer karig. Wij vonden het vreemd dat mensen hun (grote) honden zomaar op het strandje en in het water bij het hotel mochten laten. De receptioniste was bij het vertrek niet onvriendelijk maar vroeg helemaal niet of we naar onze zin gehad hadden. Wenste ons ook geen goede thuisreis.

Wir haben ein Deluxe Zimmer mit Seesicht gebucht und bezahlt. Leider sahen wir zu 95% die Photovoltaik Pannels und nur ein sehr kleiner Seeausschnitt.

Sommerfrische am See - aber sehr konservativ

Das Hotel punktet mit einer traumhaften Lage direkt am See, einer wunderschönen Liegewiese mit Steg und sehr gepflegter Anlage. Das Ambiente ist hochwertig und das Personal durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolles Frühstück. Tolle Lage, schönes Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal – aber bei Service-Details und Ausstattung gäbe es noch Luft nach oben.

Allerdings gab es auch einige Enttäuschungen: In unserem neuen Zimmer gab es keine Klimaanlage – bei sommerlichen Temperaturen nicht ideal. Die Nespressokapseln wurden bei unserem viertägigen Aufenthalt nur einmal aufgefüllt, danach hätte man pro Kapsel 2,50 € zahlen sollen – das wirkt bei diesem Preisniveau kleinlich. Das WLAN war gedrosselt und für berufliche Zwecke kaum nutzbar. Die Hotelbar schloss bereits um 23 Uhr, was für ein Haus dieser Kategorie etwas früh ist. Insgesamt wirkt das Haus eher konservativ in seiner Ausrichtung. bei Service-Details und Ausstattung gäbe es noch Luft nach oben.

Das Hotel ist eigentlich sehr schön aber aufgrund des gehobenen Preises würden wir es nicht mehr buchen.

Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise für eine Übernachtung! Wobei das Wetter nicht mitspielte. Das Hotel liegt sehr schön am See, die Terrasse und die Liegewiese direkt am See. Das Schwimmbad und den Wellness Bereich hatten wir nicht benutzt. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Fahrräder konnten wir im eigenen Fahrradraum sicher unterbringen. Parken auch direkt an der Unterkunft. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön ausgestattet. Der Balkon zum See war nicht allzu groß aber ausreichen. Leider hatten wir ein Eckzimmer was die Aussicht etwas einschränkte. Klimaanlage hatten wir nicht vermisst da es bei uns relativ kühl war. Zum Abendessen wurde nur ein Menü angeboten, von dem auch nur einzelne Gerichte ausgewählt wurden konnten. War uns auch vorher bekannt. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, man hatte eigentlich alles, wobei es kein Highlight war. Auf der Terrasse aber ein Traum direkt am See

Bei der Ankunft bekamen wir einen Gutschein für einen Willkommens Drink, bei der Einlösung an der Bar konnten wir mit Mühe und Not ein Bier und ein Softdrink herausschlagen. Der Ober mit einem komischen Humor meinte was anderes wäre nicht drin. Bitte diesen Gutschein lieber weglassen oder richtig. Ist ja kein Billighotel

Sehr schönes Hotel leider „ohne“ klimatisierte Zimmer

Sehr schöne Terrasse am See! Diese ist bei schönem Wetter zum Einnehmen der Mahlzeiten hervorragend geeignet. Mittags gibt es nur eine kleine Snackkarte - leider ohne Salate. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen und verfügt über einen sehr schön angelegen Badestrand direkt am Millstätter See. Liegen und Sonnenschirme waren ausreichend vorhanden. Der Wellnessbereich ist ebenfalls sehr schön angelegt.

Das größte Manko ist die fehlende Klimaanlage in den Zimmern. Bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen heizen sich die Zimmer mit Seeblick, die nach Süden (Seeblick) ausgerichtet sind, tagsüber leider sehr stark auf.

Wunderbare Auszeit

Das Hotel liegt traumhaft am Millstättersee. Sowohl auf der Terrasse als auch auf der Liegewiese genießt man den Blick auf den ruhigen See. Unser Zimmer im Neubau war sehr geschmackvoll und auch praktisch eingerichtet.

Da unser Zimmer auf die Westseite hinaus ging, hat es sich während des Tages extrem aufgeheizt. Wir mussten mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen, was insofern sehr unangenehm war, da der Straßenlärm bereits in den frühen Morgenstunden extrem gestört hat. Eine Klimaanlage ist für diese Zimmer absolut notwendig! Der Service zum Frühstück und Getränke am Abend war sehr sehr langsam aber freundlich

Aufenthalt sehr unerfreulich

Zimmer geräumig und sauber

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt vorn und hinten nicht. Zimmer mit angeblichen Bergblick bedeutet Straße und großer Parkplatz davor. Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage. Wegen des nächtlichen Lärms kann das Fenster nicht offen gelassen werden; daher sehr warm im Zimmer. Frühstück ist nichts besonderes. Beschriftung der Speisen wäre gut gewesen. Personal sehr desinteressiert. Wir saßen 25 Minuten auf der Terrasse mit der Hoffnung etwas zu trinken zu bekommen... vergebens. Wir sind dann gegangen. Unser Unmut wurde kommentarlos ignoriert. Terrassenmöbel und Geländer voll mit Vogelkot. Wurde in den beiden Tagen auch nicht einmal gereinigt. Unser Aufenthalt war leider sehr unerfreulich.
