This place was extraordinary. It’s an historic property right on the lake. The woman that checked us in was so kind. She even escorted us to our room. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony with incredible views. The onsite restaurant was amazing. The staff took such great care of us. The food was amazing. Can’t wait to return!

We booked a deluxe king with a lake view. We were put in room 4, which is ground level. The room and bathroom is extremely small with one tiny window that looks out on the lake.Public stairs and a smoking area were right outside the window so people could look right into the room while blowing smoke.The mattresses were broken down but friendly staff replaced them for us.Overall, not worth the money we paid and not a deluxe room.

What a wonderful stay - from the great receptionist at the entrance, to the lovely room right on the lake (worth the extra for the amazing view), through to the truly wow breakfast. Perfect parking across the way. All round 10.

The hotel is historic, but comfortable, with some beautiful vistas from the dining room, hotel rooms and the Seefront gardens. The lake in peaceful and pristine; amd doesn’t freeze in winter. The hotel is well situated for a variety of activities in both summer and winter, and accessible to Italy and Salzburg. I would certainly recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone visiting the region.

Neat, older place right on the lake with a lovely, quiet yard perfect for sun bathing and easy access to the water. Our room was small, but nicely furnished, just a little stuffy when you closed the curtains (was on ground level). Car access in and out in is a bit tricky, pedestrians are aggressive and refuse to give way to autos. In-house Restaurant specializes in game, had one of the best pheasant dishes of my life. Lovely breakfast, lovely atmosphere.

The room was too cold. We asked them to turn the heat on for us twice, but there was no heat. Dinner at the restaurant however was fabulous as was the location.

An Austrian Lake Como. Gorgeous rooms. Great food in the restaurant. Great hotel, of course the floors are squeaky and beautiful and does make you feel like you are in a place from a century ago with modern bathrooms . For sure coming back again.

Likes:The location was excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly.Dislikes:There was a very strange smell (sewage?) that could be smelled when walking on the street near the kitchen area of the restaurant.I realise that this is a more a matter of personal preference, however, my wife and I found the mattresses in our room to be extremely hard.

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a junior suite. It was a nice big room, large bathroom, with a small porch for two to watch the lake. The bed was comfy. The breakfast did not have hot food but had plenty of options otherwise. The only bad i can think of is that parking is quite tight. Otherwise recommended for those who want a nice quiet spot with a great view.

Beautiful setting with great outdoor dining area right on the water. Water sports available nearby. The only negative was that we rented their suite, which was very nice, but it was right above their kitchen. So 7 am we were awakened by banging pots and pans and lots of talking.

The service at See-Villa was exceptional. They really went out of their way to help make the stay as pleasant as possible for us. I was really impressed with the food (we has dinner there one night and breakfast each day). The setting on the edge of the lake is pristine too.
