shower stream could be stronger bed was not that bad, just a very small pillow, I felt a little broken after sleep

Great place with lake view and bathing place

Very nice hotel with great view from our lake facing terracce. Great breakfast buffet and friendly and helpful staff. The lake bathing area belonging to the hotel is fantastic, with free acceess to stand-up paddle boards, rowing boat and pedal boat. A serve yourself refrigerator with beer, wine and soft drinks is also available.

Be prepared for an early start to the day if you have the window open at night, since traffic noise from the road will wake you up

Very nice and helpful staff. The whole hotel was very clean. Good breakfast, most things were there. Nice with the small bathing place a few minutes from the hotel.

Good location, kind and helpful stuff. Perfect breakfast with an option eggs all styles. It was also first time, when they offered me an upgrade because of “genius level” in system booking 👍

Bathroom was a little bit “old fashion”, but clean, so I was satisfied.

The location and Hotel were beautiful, very relaxing, and Exceptional friendly, helpful staff. Made to feel extremely welcome. Unfortunately are luggage went missing from Klagenfurt airport and we had great help in locating it.by a member of the staff. Food was very well.presented, and plenty of delicious choice, wonderful coffee. Everything was Wonderful we can't wait to go back.

Very nice choice either for a stop over or for a longer stay for holidays.

Excellent location, easy and safe parking also very convinient covered space when you are on a motorbike and is raining! Hotel is run by a nice family, very polite and helpful. The place is well maintained in every detail. Room was big and clean and breakfast was really very good. it was very good choice.

Hotel does not serve food, but you can find anything in walking distance around. There are no other disadvantages or things that are not nice.

Amazing Service, Location, Charm & Hospitality

FANTASTIC service and a gorgeous, charming property. The Nikolasch family could not have been more welcoming or helpful during our stay. The service was absolutely top notch! They went above and beyond to make recommendations and arrangements for us, and made us feel like part of the family. The property itself was stunning and charming - and extremely clean! The included breakfast was wonderful! Location was perfect, with easy access to everything. Our room was very comfortable with a spectacular view and large balcony. Plus, the hotel is very dog friendly! I would 100% recommend Hotel Nikolasch to anyone! Amazing place.

Lovely and relaxing stay

The family that runs the hotel made us feel extremely welcome. Breakfast was very good and a large variety was offered each morning. 10 minute walk to the boat dock and several restaurants. The beach facilities were very comfortable and made it so easy and relaxing to enjoy the lake.

Overall a good hotel but disappointing for that price

The breakfast was very good with a large selection of fresh fruit, cereal or bread. Staff was very friendly and overall the atmosphere was pleasant.

The"lake view" rooms are directly at the noisy main road, only behind that being the lake. The view is still good though. The "private beach" is a platform as an entry point to the lake, a five mins walk from the hotel. It can get crowded if many hotel guests go there. Instead of hand soap there were two additional packets of shampoo on the sink. Hand soap was only given on request.

The staff was very nice and made our family feel very comfortable.

Although the hotel had lake views it is right on the busy road that has traffic all day and into the night. Since there isn't air conditioning this means you have to open windows and hear the car sounds all night.

Recommendable family run lake-hotel

First of all: the hosts are extraordinary friendly and helpful, which makes this place a very nice family-run hotel. The breakfast was excellent as well. For the hotel itself, the standard and facilities were better than expected.

It's really just minor things, not worth mentioning. However, a little fridge in the room would have been a plus.
