Next time we‘ll book on the Italian side of the lake

Views, Pool, Cleanliness, nice lady at reception one morning.

Hmm, where to start? Dated rooms, but ok. Inflexible staff and not child-friendly. Reception closed in the early evening when we were there. Feels like a retirement home. Restaurant sent us away one evening at 18:20 because we had no reservation. Two small kids that would have needed a plate of pasta and would have been gone within an hour… No desire to give house guests comfort and flexibility. They reserve all the tables and expect people to plan ahead, seems to be a Swiss thing, also on holidays…

Lovely pool and terrace, helpful staff and free parking

It is our second time in Arancio and we again enjoyed the views, the pool and location. We need to warn that a walk to Ascona involved a number of steps. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Relaxing by the pool or drinks on the terrace in the evening was a highlight. It was cute to see chef picking up basil from their own small kitchen garden. We need to say there is currently a building going on on the other side of the road with some noise involved. Thus should end in the foreseeable future so we would return

The pool, the view event though there was a crane for construction down below the road in front, nice terrasses.

The traffic although if you sleep the windows closed you won't hear it. The rooms are basic old looking but the beds were comfy.

We couldn't take dinner to our room when our baby got cranky Rooms are really small (we booked a room which were supposed to be a junior room. Yes, it had a discount, but was more a humble "budget standard")

Don’t go here with dogs.

The food was really good and overall it was not a bad hotel (I’ve seen a lot worse).

However it’s far from good for the money you pay for it. The rooms are not really good but very old. And on the website it said that pets are allowed but ones you’re there the dog can only be in the room. Which I find ridiculous. Dogs are not even allowed in the outside dining area. Which is totally fine by me but the hotel should put it on their website. If they would have listed this, I would’ve never stayed there. And the most funny thing, although you cannot take your dog anywhere in the hotel except the room, they make you pay way too much money for it when checking out.

Tolles Eckzimmer im 2. OG mit wunderbarem Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore. Sehr gutes Frühstückbuffet, was das Herz begehrt. Das Essen im Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen. Direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich die Bushaltestelle. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Die Aussicht auf den See ist immer wieder ein Genuss, bei jedem Wetter.

Zimmer mit Balkon und Sicht auf den See sehr schön. Frühstück gut, sehr guter Kaffee. Busstation unterhalb des Hotels, Ticino Ticket immer wieder toll, das es das gibt. Frei verfügbare und genügend Parkplätze direkt am Hotel. Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung schätze ich sehr. Gemütlicher Restaurantbereich mit Aussenterrasse.

La vue sur le lac est magnifique et la piscine est très belle aussi.

Le bufffet du petit-déjeuner est très simple En journée il n’y a qu’un bus par heure pour aller en ville.

Hôtel soigné avec personnel serviable. Petit-déjeuner continental très bien approvisionné. Belle vue sur le lac depuis la piscine et la chambre et la terrasse de l'hôtel.

Les nuisances sonores occasionnées par la circulation. La route principale passe en-dessous de l'hôtel.

Wir kommen mal wieder

Personal, war sehr bedacht dass alle Wünsche und Fragen erfüllt werden. Frühstück ist ok , vielleicht ein wenig mehr auswahl an Wurst, oder auch Fisch ,ansonsten sehr gut alles Frisch. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge egal in welche Richtung richtig gut.

Matratze war etwas zuhart für mich, aber da ja jeder anders.

Gerne wieder mit längerem Aufenthalt und Auto.

Sehr idyllisch gelegen. Aber am besten mietet man sich eine Auto, da die Busse nicht so häufig fahren und das Taxi ins Geld geht. Aber für paar Tage abschalten vom Alltag und zur Ruhe kommen ideal. Auch fand ich es wunderbar dass ich nach drm Auschecken noch meine Koffer da lassen konnte, um den restlichen Tag draussen zu geniessen.

Mit ÖV und zu Fuss etwas kompliziert wenn man das 1.Mal zu Besuch ist. Aber das ist Jammern auf Höchstem Nievau und eigentlich kaum drr Rede wert.

Super Frühstück mit Blick auf den See. Müsli nach Bircher Art sehr lecker. Pool ist auch toll. Die kleine Marmelade vom Haus zum Abschied ist eine nette Geste.

Das Budget Zimmer kann empfindsame Seelen traurig machen: dunkel mit Blick auf die Versorgungstechnik und den entsprechenden Sound. Selten schlechter geguckt für das Geld. Spinnweben...und Bewohner darin.
