Beautiful place with great lake views. Great breakfast at a location nearby with super friendly staff. Good accessibility from the road (we were able to park right in front of the building) by elevator and a few steps up to the apartment.

Our superior double could use a little love - some renovations (floors, cupboards), but especially many small things could enhance the experience a lot. There is a lot of unused space, how about a second mirror for example in the entrance gangway. Insect nets in the window to cool down at night and in the bathroom (or a vent). The terrace would have a great lake view but there‘s a bush right in front, that blocks the view - why not cut it.

Great stay at the lake

We arrived by train. We took a taxi and it cost 45 SWF to get there. Once we figured out the buses, we took the buses for the rest of our stay and back to the train station with our luggage. It was so easy and we should have done it upon arrival. The apartment was beautiful. It was hot there so we were glad there was an air conditioning unit. The apartment is on a hill so you have a gorgeous view of the lake from the balcony. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We arrived early for our reservation and they gave us a place to change into our swimsuits so we could get out on the lake. They have two free paddle boards and kayaks to use. We enjoyed our stay. Within 10 minutes walk there is a nice free, public “beach”(no sand) . It’s more of a grassy area with lounge chairs, a restaurant /bar and an area to swim. It’s a rocky when getting in the water so bring water shoes. We spent a day there and it was so relaxing.

The only downside is that there were a lot of stairs. We had carry on bags but it still gave us a workout to get to the top apartment. The trip up the stairs was well worth it. If someone cannot do stairs, this particular apartment is not the right place.

Clean, kind and great value for money!

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The garden area was equipped with a table and chairs on both sides of the apartment to be able to enjoy the sun in the morning and the afternoon. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed a fabulous meal in the restaurant on our first night.

There are a lot of stairs up to the apartments and this could be needed to be taken into consideration for some people. Carrying the groceries and bags up those steps is quite challenging! For most though, the view is worth it! Our apartment had a lot of sun in the mornings and even with the blackout curtains it woke us early. There was very little sun in the evening. This may have been due to it being early April.

The lady who welcomed us was friendly and the place was clean. It was nice to have a little bit of garden for the dog.

We expected to be able to walk to places, but access to the lake was very limited and lots of roads didn't have a sidewalk, so you had to take the car for everything! We also expected it to be bigger, it was quite small for 5 people. In the description it says room 1, room 2, room 3 - however there were only 2 rooms - the single bed was in the lounge. To be fair, the title said 2-bedroom apartment, but we were more focussed on the description than the title. Plus, the second bedroom was so small, we had to move the furniture to be able to close the door and only one bedroom had storage.

lovely spot with great view

Very lovely place with superb view over the lake. Very good breakfast directly at the lake in another hotel/restaurant. Simple but very clean room but you need to be a little bit fit to climb the 89 stairs :) would definitely come again!

Unfortunately itwas not possible to sit on the balcony without getting 10 mosquito bites but nothing good old Autan could not solve.

Erholsamer Aufenthalt im Tessin!

Der Balkon und die Wohnung war wunderbar mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den See. Man konnte in der Küche gut selber kochen, da alles Notwendige vorhanden war. In der Nacht war es völlig ruhig.

Die Parkplätze waren zu teuer. Das Bett fanden wir zu hart und vorallem störte uns, dass bei jeder Drehung im Bett der andere gestört wurde, da die Matratzen auf den Latten so laut tönten.

Die Lage direkt am See ist ruhig, trotz der Strasse auf der anderen Seite. Der hübsche kleine Garten und der Zugang zum See ist einfach toll und sogar der Hund durfte mitkommen.

Im grossen und ganzen zufrieden!

Die Lage war o.k. Schön, dass Padels zur Verfügung standen ! Als Sie unseren grossen Hund sahen, durften wir nicht verlängern, obwohl draussen stand. "freie Zi" !! Obwohl einige Gäste Freude an ihm hatten. Er ist sehr ruhig, nicht aufdringlich ! Halt ein Lieber !!

Man könnte einige Sonnenstühle auf der Mauer am See hinstellen , nicht nur 2 Stk!! Bds. Je 6 Stühle und wer Möchte noch Sonnenschirme zur Verfügung stellen! Das wäre toll👍🌴🤩

Wir haben sehr schöne Ferien verlebt und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Lage am See ist toll, mit einer mega Aussicht, eigenem Sitzplatz und Balkon. Die Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend möbliert und eingerichtet. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der nahe Badeplatz ist ebenfalls sehr gut mit dem zugehörigen Restaurant und dem sehr netten Personal. ÖV direkt beim Haus. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Altes Hotel, neue Wohnungen, insgesamt etwas überteuert

Wir hatten zunächst eine Wohnung im 1. Stock der Residenza Bettina. Diese lag am Hang mit Blick auf den See und war wirklich sehr schön und neu renoviert. Leider war auf dem Bootssteg ca. 200m entfernt eine extrem laute Techno-Party im Gange, was es mir unmöglich machte in diesem Zimmer zu bleiben. Auch bei geschlossenem Fenster war das Gedröhne äußerst gut hörbar. Ich habe dann mitgeteilt dass wir unter diesen Umständen wieder abreisen müssen, das war wirklich unerträglich. Wir haben daraufhin eine Wohnung im Souterrain des Haupthauses bekommen. Etwas tiefer und weiter weg gelegen, daher war die Musik kaum noch hörbar. Die Wohnung war ebenfalls in Ordnung, war aber nicht renoviert und hatte keinen so schönen Ausblick wie die erste. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit frischen Zutaten aus der Region (Schinken und Käse) und frisch gekochten Eiern. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auf der Terrasse direkt am See sitzen. Die Lage ist gut, man ist schnell in Ascona, Locarno und auch in Italien. In Cannobio ist einmal die Woche ein sehr schöner Markt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Teilweise sehr laute Umgebung. Das Hotel verfügt über genau 3 Parkplätze. Wenn diese belegt sind wird es schwierig etwas zu finden. In unserer Wohnung waren Ameisen und die Möblierung war etwas abgewohnt. Das ist die Residenza gegenüber in deutlich besserem Zustand. Für Reisende mit Hund ist die Gegend eher nicht zu empfehlen, weil es keine öffentlichen Grünflächen und keinen Seezugang in der Nähe gibt an dem Hunde erlaubt sind. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat insbesondere für die Vorsaison nicht gestimmt, allerdings liegt die Unterkunft auch in der ohnehin ziemlich teuren Schweiz. Wenige Kilometer weiter in Italien sieht die Lage sicher anders aus.

Klein und Fein mit toller Lage

Die tolle Lage am See. Das Zimmer hat eine kleinen Balkon mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore. Und das Restaurant hat eine wunderbare Terrasse direkt gegenüber der Brissago Inseln. Das Haus strahlt Wärme und eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus.

Bellissima vista sul lago

La posizione è tranquilla e si ha una meravigliosa vista sul lago. Si arriva facilmente ad Ascona, Locarno e Brissago. Certo, ci sono scalini, ma per forza. In quella zona tutte le case/appartamenti sono così. Ci sono anche tanti insetti, ma è normale perchè l'appartamento è in mezzo alla roccia e al verde. Wifi veloce.

L'appartamento di sera è buio, con tanti punti luce ma poco efficaci. Il materasso è sfondato e da cambiare.
