Expensive with poor quality. No meal service could be provided.

Close to highway and calm village.

Arrived Saturday evening, restaurant closed. Breakfast at Sunday started at 8 which is very late. Bed was not clean.

Lovely hotel, but too far from Freiburg city center.

Clean and comfortable room, with helpful staff.

The hotel was on the outskirts of Freiburg, and was difficult to get to without a car. From the main train station you have to take a local train, followed by a bus to get there, or walk a kilometer from the smaller train station with your luggage. The hotel had air conditioning, which was a huge plus.

Great overnight stop near motorway on way back to UK.

Smart hotel with private parking in quiet village just off motorway. I was on my motorcycle and arrived cold and wet, this hotel was warm and cozy so I dried off my kit and downed a few beers before some hearty food.

The host is such a nice person. Very kind, helpful and positive, even though it's not easy for him during these times. The dinner was great! The breakfast too. The room was spotless clean and everything is very well kept. You can see that the host really does take good care of the place and really cares about it. I only needed to stay the night near Freiburg to explore the city the next day, and it was a great find.

If you want to visit Freiburg and coming without a car - that's a big nope. It's quite far. If you do have a car - the place is great!

A really lovely hotel with amazing food

The food in the hotel is exceptional, both the breakfast and dinner. The owner is extremely friendly and very funny. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are very comfy.

The street outside our room was very loud. A bus went by every 15 minutes, so sleeping with the window open in summer isn't an option, which then makes the room very hot.

There is a church next to the hotel and during the entire night the bells were tolling making really difficult to sleep something.

Kostenloser Parkplatz im schön gestalteten Garten. Schönes Bad. Unkomplizierter, netter Empfang des Gastgebers.

Schade ist dass das Restaurant; aus verständlichen Gründen, dauerhaft geschlossen ist, jedoch nicht auf der Hompage erwähnt wird.

Prima hotel waar je prima kan overnachten

Prima hotel, met een hele gastvrije eigenaar. Kamers zijn netjes en het ontbijt is ruim voldoende. Dit was onze tweede keer en gebruiken het als doorreis hotel.

Helaas door personeels gebrek kun je er niet dineren, eigenaar verwees ons naar een pizzeria even verderop. Daar besteld en meegenomen naar het hotel waar we het mochten opeten.

Zeer vriendelijk én gastvrij! Grote kamer, met alle faciliteiten, groot hoog stevig bed. TV met voldoende zenders.

Jammer dat het Restaurant gesloten was, maar er zijn meerdere eetgelegenheden vlak bij het hotel.

Slecht hotel, ik ga er nooit meer heen.

Het lag op de route en de locatie was daardoor geschikt als tussenstop.

Een heel slechte matras en ook een dun, oud hoofdkussen. Ik heb daardoor nauwelijks geslapen, terwijl ik normaliter een goede slaper ben. Smoezig aandoend beddengoed. Kale kamer. Gammele kast. Er was ook geen waterkoker om bijv. even thee te zetten.
