Motel-like stop-over but overall ok

worst hotel I ever stayed for an astounding 160 per night

The toilet flush was incredible

1. A weak shower with broken doors in which even one man can hardly shower 2. disgusting stains on sheets whose origins I do not even want to imagine 3. our room was non-smoking, but somehow we got a lot of smoke from people smoking somewhere else going into our windows 4. the sound proof is non-existent: I woke up from a bed squeaking in the room above at 2 am. I'm glad someone had fun, I just didn't ask to be a part of it 5. some of the furniture is almost at the edge of its usability: hangers which are only kept by faith and remainders of glue are the best illustration 6. I do not know who designed these pillows and bed, but my back hurts from sleeping on the bed and my head hurts sleeping on the pillow. 7. the size of the room and bathroom was also a surprise. I got rooms.and showers almost 3x the size for half a price. 8. the location is almost the farthest it can be from the city center, I do not understand why it costed 160 a night

A great bargain that is clean and friendly and close to Gundelfingen w/a great breakfast and staff

This was my second time staying here due to my surgery at the Gelenk Klinik nearby and it's a very nice and affordable hotel. It's close to Gundelfingen and pretty close to the center of town. The breakfast is very nice, the bed was super comfy and I had a nice view of the sunset from my room. The staff are friendly and helped me get a taxi to the hospital when I was leaving. I would book again because the price is so good.

There's not much in the immediate area apart from a McDonalds and Burger King, it's location is a bit isolated, but ultimately, it's not that far from the city center.

We arrived in Gundelfingen looking for our accommodation only to find it was the wrong Gundelfingen. As we were on bicycles we couldn’t ride an extra 200 km to somewhere we didn’t want to go. Phoned from a hotel in Gundelfingen am Donau to cancel but was told needed to contact booking.com. All too hard. Probably happens all the time. No refund as yet.

Good service.

There was trouble with the payment between Booking.com and the hotel. For both rooms. And we arrived after 2200 where the phone service shut down. But a very helpful guy called back and assisted with the payment and checking in. The light was dead in both rooms but we used the tv as light.

No light in the room as there was a problem with the fuses on our floor. We used the tv as light so i was OK.

in the area there were drunk people. Also once a drunk man knocking on my window and screaming to me. I could hear in my room the people talking and screaming from the entry and breakfastroom.

The room was big, comfortable and clean. Very nice staff. Parking available. Not too far from city center.

This booking was made for my young niece, who arrived there at 10pm only to discover that the entrance code-pad failed to recognise the reservation number. Other guests who happened to be present also tried, to no avail, and the phone number provided is only available until 5pm!! Luckily I was in Freiburg myself and was able to find her somewhere else to stay, otherwise this young woman would have had to sleep on the street. I emailed the hotel in the morning and again yesterday but so far no-one has had the courtesy to reply. I will be taking this up with the booking Com complaints department and perhaps also with the city council hotel licencing department.

Hotel is good and clean, for one night it is definitely the best decision.

Check in was possible the whole day on the counter, and also on the computer, so that you can do it by yourself 24/7. Rooms weren’t big, but had everything you may need.

Sounds on the aisle were laud when someone speak there, you could always here it. There is no key to the room, just a code that you insert to enter. From time to time this code didn’t work, so you have to stay about 2-3 minutes outside of the room trying to insert the combination right.

Clean nice hotel at a great price

Great hotel at a reasonable price. There is no kettle in the room but the staff offered that i could take boiling water from the breakfast buffet even though i wasnt paying for breakfast. Safe area to walk alone.

Its a bit far out from the city centre, but the busses are frequent or a 45min walk
