perfect position, close to old city. Wonderful pub, Parazzar, a few doors down with a convivial atmosphere (gezellig) and Peter is a welcoming host. Our b&b provided excellent breakfasts.

The breakfast was great. The host was helpful. The location was great - 15 mins walk to the city centre and train station. We had the top floor room which was spacious and had a comfortable bed.

Nothing really. If you were less able you might struggle with the steepness of the stairs.

A lovely stay at a beautiful city

It is well located, very close to the city. The breakfast is amazing, the host cooks small surprises. And the host is very nice and helpful. The room was very spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. For sure a place I would recommend to everyone!

In Bruges

Geert the owner , was very welcoming offering us refreshments on arrival while showing us points of interest on a map he provided for us . Our room was lovely with a comfy bed and a lovely bathroom with a walk in shower and coffee and tea available and a mini fridge . Breakfast was filling with hot and cold buffet and endless refills . Location was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with a brillant local Jazz bar serving lovely evening meals . The station is a pleasent 15 minute walk as is the Centre of Bruges.

The welcome from our hostess was excellent fully matched later by her husband Geert. His breakfasts were a wonder to behold. With an offering of continental style combined with an individually cooked egg to your preference. All accompanied by specially prepared delicacies. We are a couple from Australia, Geert's speaks excellent english and we heard him satisfy other guests and visitors in a number of other languages. We will gladly recommend Villa des Raisins to visitors to Bruges. It is convenient to the railway station, 5 mins by taxi. It is about a half km walk (1/4 mile) into the city shops.

Fantastic host, great stay!

Our host Geert was absolutely brilliant and did everything to ensure that our stay was as good as it could possibly be. We were welcomed with tea, given a run down on the locality and the sights to see. The breakfast he provides is fantastic with courses that kept coming and meant that lunch definitely wasn't required. Cannot recommend his hospitality enough.

This is a great place and run by an excellent host. Very friendly and accommodating to all our needs and questions. Does the extra things that make a difference. Breakfast is an enjoyable experience every morning. All freshly cooked for you and your wants. Rooms are simply decorated, good sized and so is the bathroom. Highest recommendations for this Villa. 15 minute walk to the old town.

No luggage rack or place for your luggage. Nothing major but it is a part of the room and traveling.

Perfect B&B stay for Valentine’s Day

Our room was so lovely. We were even given an upgrade for Valentine’s Day free of charge! The property was so cosy and clean. And the bathroom was so big with an amazing shower.

best thing about the property is the location. short walk into the centre of Bruges. the building is lovely. well kept, well decorated and comfortable. the hosts are very kind, helpful and friendly. The ability to park at the property is a big bonus. Parked up when we arrived and did not need the car until we left.

Lovely tall town house with high ceilings and wooden floors. Very clean with good facilities. Geert was a great host, very helpful and provided lovely breakfast with tasty extras. Good location, 5 minutes' walk to Smedenpoort city gate, 7mins to t'Zand and 15 to Markt. Brugge is a lovely city for a weekend break, especially if you like speciality beers.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful time here - we had a few days in Bruges to explore and this location was fantastic and a lovely walk into the centre. Geert was incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay, and gave us lots of information on the surrounding locations and where to go. Breakfast really matches the reviews, it’s outstanding! Wifi connection was strong and secure. Room was very clean and amenities were fantastic. Definitely recommend this property for an incredible stay, could not fault it in any way!

Delight in Bruges, worth the short walk from the centre

Beautiful house, and beautifully kept, all in period and quite stunning. Greeted personally by the host, Gerry, with the offer of a drink, we chose beer, of course, whilst he gave us really good history and detail of what to do, see and what was on. Breakfast was excellent, eggs to order, smoked salmon, cheese and meats, good bread, great coffee, mini ‘toastie’ with cheese and herbs, and dessert of pastry and pancakes with chocolate sauce! Lovely room, good shower. Overall, couldn’t fault this place.

exceeds expectations

Geert was an excellent host. Provided a map and instructions of how to get around. I'm not normally one for B&Bs... but this had all of the amenities of a boutique hotel - private bathrooms, etc. And the breakfasts are MAGNIFICENT. At first was concerned when we were not in the city, but it os literally steps to the gate of old Brugges.
