A comfortable stay in a great central location.

2 great nights' sleep due to a very quiet room and comfortable bed. The bar and restaurant area was well laid out and I enjoyed drinks at the bar but due to prior arrangements was not able to have a meal at the restaurant.

I was disappointed at the early closing (midnight) of the bar as I could not have a late night drink when returning after a day out. I would have preferred more 'hot' items in the breakfast selection.

This was very much as I expected it to be - a fair price for a night's stay.

Breakfast selection good, room comfortable and quiet. The room was an improvement on the one I stayed in the last time I visited, although that was several years ago.

Close to town but needs a revamp

Proximity to the town, easy to find, breakfast was nice, staff are friendly

No secure parking and charged €8 to park round the back, corridor to the room smells and the decor is disgusting. The room had damp patches on the carpet and the beds were uncomfortable, bathroom was frightening. This is a very run down hotel that is in dire need of an update, we stayed in 10 different hotels throughout Europe on our trip and this was the most expensive and worst

A lovely place to stay, close to old town, and lots of things to do and enjoy.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The parking is fantastic. The old building is very nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good.

the hall and room carpet could use a cleaning. It was difficult to get in and out of the bathtub, it could use a handle on the wall for security.

Good for a short stay, but in dire need of an update.

The bathroom was simple, but sufficient. The breakfast was basic, but good. The front of house staff was friendly, and really helpful.

It was pretty clear that the hotel, and its amenities, need some major updates and renovations. The hotel feels like it's stuck in the 70s. Whilst it was an alright option for my stay, as I just needed a bed to sleep in, and the option to have a shower, it's hard to deny that Wilhelmina cannot really compete with other hotels in the area. At the very least it's in dire need of a lick of paint, new carpets, improved shower pressure, a review of the interior design, etc.

Couldn't even sleep

Good location, kind staff.

Uncomfortable bed. Not the highest standard for cleaning. VERY warm in the room, as the sun hit the room all day, and no AC available. Really loud generators just outside the window, that kept on the whole night, impossible to sleep. I had to cancel my stay half way and find an alternative place.

Very close to train station and five minutes walk to the centre so perfect for me, excellent breakfast included in price and very friendly staff.

At 2.30...ish, in the middle of the night, the smoke alarm went off so we had a few minutes of chaos but the staff were very apologetic the next morning and were not sure what caused the alarm to trigger, it wasn't a guest they said and it had never happened before. Sometimes strange things happen, i would have given an eight but for this incident.

Exceptional

Room was good .Hotel was built in 1866 and was a officer's residence in WW2 for the Germans and later for the Americans.The woodwork on ground level is amazing.Central railway station is just over the road.Staff excellent. Breakfast perfekt. 15 minutes from nightlife and shops. Carpark for €7.50 a day

The location is very good, just few steps from the train station and very close to the center of the town. The staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean.

No air conditioner in the room, we were at the ground floor and could not open the window as people were passing outside, very close to it.
