Iffley Town House

Easy check-in, helpful in letting us leave bags early. Lovely rooms, each with their own bathroom and independent check-in

Sofa and chairs isn't really enough to seat everyone renting the house

This is a well located house on a busy road in Oxford, outside the centre but with good easy access into town and the surroundings. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby. There's also a Co-op two minutes away if you are looking to cook in the kitchen. Bedrooms are generally well laid out with decent bedding and towels. Lighting is good with bedside lamps. Fans are available to help cope with the heat. All rooms are en suite so no one will be fighting over the shower. The kitchen is fairly well stocked with cooking items and utensils, crockery and cutlery. The owners were also accommodating of our need to reconfigure some rooms by twinning the beds.

The house was generally clean but there were some odd moments - lots of microfibre flannels left on a drying rack, some cobwebs. In the kitchen, there was a bag of cereal left in one of the cupboards, and the coffee and tea seemed very old. The cleaners also arrived before we were due to check out, and seemed very eager to get into the rooms. They would have found this easier if they had arrived at or after check out time.

Location and ease of access. Room was clean and comfy. They had provided a fan.

The shower was very small. Lack of places to plug things in.

Great location, & the kitchen / lounge / garden area are fantastic!

I guess rooms at the back are quiet - but our rooms at the front were very noisy. Also - no fans in the rooms and it was incredibly hot. Plus, couldn’t open the windows because it would have made it even noisier!
