Milka's, Oxford.

Petar is a supreme hotelier. Milka's reflects this. Parking right by the entrance. Bus stop to the city centre 50 yards away. From, right outside. The room I stayed is facing the street. I didn't hear any outside noise day or night. Bathroom and shower box, might be a bit tight for some. But as with the rest of the place. Clean as a whistle. Fair size wardrobe, (with hangers, full length mirror on door,) bedside drawers, large tele and desk and chair. Extra chair. Seperate 3/4 length mirror. Comfy bed and pillows. I slept soundly. I highly recommend Milka's and sincerely thank Petar and his staff for a very pleasant stay.

Good value for money, friendly welcoming host and exceptionally clean.

The location is excellent, it is on the main Iffley Road, 3 minutes from a bus stop and regular buses into the centre of Oxford..a 15 minute journey. There is a convenient local Coop nearby, and lovely walks in the área of Iffley Village just further along the road. The main road is busy but the double glazing shuts out most of the traffic noise. The facilities were great, we especially appreciated the kettle and the mini fridge.

The only slight disadvantage was the lack of wifi but in fairness we didn't ask for the password! The room is small as is the little ensuite but adequate for our short stay.

The accomodation was clean and charming. The owner was friendly and helpful. Easy to reach from the center of Oxford. About 30 min walk straight ahead. The surroundings also nice and bus station is just in front of the building.

Great hostess Very good bus service to the City Center as the bus stops right in front of Milka’s Close walk to the river which is a lovely walk to the City Center Close to Iffley village and Locks

Uncomfortable and dirty. Left early.

The staff member we saw was very kind. The location was convenient to all our plans. There was off road parking with EV Charging.

The Shower was dirty. The basin was cracked, the bed was uncomfortable. there were noisy dogs hammering up and down the stairs and barking, the Kettle was scummy. the Towel rail was rusty. the room was very low quality for the price paid. we have made several trips to central London hotels and for a low cost they were of a higher standard.

Clean room. Location is convenient to get on the bus to the center quickly. Quiet area. They were flexible to allow for early check in.

The property was very clean and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day and tea/coffee etc replenished, there was also a small chiller in the room which was useful. Perfectly located with bus stops right outside making going into and back from town very easy with the buses running every 10 minutes! Can’t fault at all and would definitely recommend

The room was compact but clean and comfortable. Room was serviced every day and the bus was very close. The vanity basin was a good size. The TV worked without having to log on.

The ensuite was very compact. Water pressure was poor. The WiFi was not secure.

Great accommodation in a perfect location

The owner is very helpful and he kindly assisted us with leaving our car early on arrival and picking it up after we'd already checked out. The room was great, with lots of light, very quiet and overlooking the garden. We didn't need it all, but for a longer stay it's good to have a proper wardrobe, a big desk for the TV and another separate desk for tea and coffee etc., and a mini fridge. Everything was spotless, including the fully tiled bathroom. The room was checked every day in case anything was missing. The bed was on the hard side, which is a bonus for us. There is plenty of parking outside, and even 2 vehicle charging points. The location is brilliant on the Iflley Road, out of the bustle of the city centre enough, but really close to the villagy atmosphere of Magdalen Road and also to Cowley Road, with all its great restaurants. It's about 30 minutes on foot into the city centre, which for us was perfect, but there are also buses taking you in quickly. As the Thames is also about 15 minutes away, you could also cross the bridges at the Iflley lock and walk in and out of the city centre along the Thames path (make sure you have a torch if late in the evening).

Absolutely very minor thing, in case you are easily disturbed: the mini fridge could to some feel a bit noisy, especially as the room is beautifully quiet otherwise (no traffic could be heard despite being on a main road), and the green emergency fire light a bit bright.

Bitten by bugs, no breakfast, 150 a night, outdated decor, avoid.

The staff where hospitable and there was flexibility in check out time.

150 a night, no breakfast, decor made you feel like you were in a nursing home and my partner and I woke up covered in bed bugs - despite the windows being shut all night. When I raised this via email after our stay they did not respond. I would avoid Milkas.

Great guest house in a very convenient location. It was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything to make our stay very comfortable. Stayed in a back room overlooking the garden, which was very quiet and peaceful. There was parking on the forecourt in front of the hotel and we hopped on the bus into the city centre which took less than 10 mins. Bus stop opposite the guest house.

Bed, but no breakfast!

Location. Comfortable bed. Nice quiet room at the back of the house. Mini fridge in room. Parking Family owned and run. Clean room (however not so impressed with bathroom. See note) Plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc

We booked thinking there would be breakfast but they don't offer any kind of breakfast anymore so I think pictures and reference to it should be removed from the website. We decided to buy breakfast at the local co-op and kept it in the mini-fridge. If there had been breakfast it would have met my expectations, but as there wasn't, it didn't meet with my expectations. Dado rail in bathroom was dusty and the plughole in the bathroom sink was a bit yellow around the edges, and sediment came up into the sink when running the tap. So maybe a bit more attention to that. Had to run the shower for a long time to get hot water. The green emergency light by room door (inside the room) was very bright!

Very nice B&B

Very nice host. The room was nice and clean. Parking available. Bus stop is right in front of the B&B. We were travelling with an electric car and were surprises to see a charger on the parking place. It was newly installed and i got to test it. Works perfect. We would stay here again.
