Location good

It is impossible to climb the stairs with elderly people and big luggage, we had a hard time, and there is no wifi, I stayed for four nights, but I did not get wifi, and the room is small. This room is not for long stays.

Fantastic location, good value.

The location is fantastic, great communication from the host, easy check in. Obviously if you’re going to stop in the heart of Brussels it’s going to be an old building, but so what? It had everything we needed and the location is superb, good value.

It’s not a ‘didn’t like’, more of a temper your expectations, it’s an old building so expect it to be so.

Very good price/value ratio if you want to explore the bustling city centre

Authentic old belgian house, but nice and clean. We got real flowers in the table, it was a very thoughtful gesture from the owner. Located at the city center, it is easy to explore the city by walk. The bathroom was clean, it has kitchen with caffe machine and fridge. Ideal for 2 person, it is possible to cook for yourself, and save money, etc...

For this price tag i got what i want, so i don't think there are many things what could be improved. There are no air conditioner, but the weather was good, so it isn't necessary. Important to know, the city center is very noisy (i didn't think before), so it isn't ideal with small children I think. There are many restaurants in the street (indian, libanese), so noise and continous smell is coming trough the window day and night. But I think it is the same situation everywhere in the city centre.

Very central apartment in Brussels

Extremely central apartment about one minute from the Grand Place. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and a Carrefour supermarket 50 meters away. Good cooking facilities. We took the train from the airport to central station and then walked to the flat. It says 7 min on maps but streets are cobblestones and not easy to drag bagage along. Like other mention - the stairs are steep but my nearly 90 years old mother managed so it's not too bad.

An Enjoyable Trip.

The Owner allowed us to check in early and Check out late , which was a huge help to us , and we both were very grateful. It was also close to train station, places to eat , shops and easy to walk around the area. We were both comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed our stay.

Might ideal for a smoke alarm in the Room. Also weren't a huge fan of the Stairs into the Bluilding , very steep.

Great location but noisey at night

The apartment is close to Grand Place/Grote Markt and is easily accessible via the T3/4 trams from Gare du Midi/Zuid train station. There's a slightly longer walk if arriving at Central station on the Metro

There are multiple apartments under this booking. The numerous photos on BookingDotCom show different apartments, not multiple photos of the same apartment, which I did not realise. The apartment is close to Grand Place/Grote Markt and is directly above a restaurant, which means it is noisey at night. I did not sleep well at all. The apartments are only accessible by a narrow, tight staircase, which is difficult to navigate with large heavy luggage. The apartment was warm on a mild summer day. There is no air conditioning, so I imagine it would be hot during peak summer hot weather

Central location, safe and clean

Great location, close to city centre, metro and lots of restaurants. Studio had everything I needed for a few days' stay.

Could hear everything happening in the restaurant below and the apartment above. Luckily all was quiet by about 11pm each night, but a noisy neighbour could easily ruin a stay here. Steep and uneven staircase to access studio.

The apartment is small but perfectly formed and well-equipped to provide you with living space.

Because the door code given to me wasn't working, and just as I was about to give up, someone opened the door from the inside and stepped out. Relief flooded me as I explained my predicament to the stranger, who generously offered to help. The apartment is clean and very central. If you enjoy cooking, you'll be pleased to know that there are basic kitchen wares available that you can use to prepare your meals. One thing that I like is the brewed coffee.

The door code that I had been given did not work as expected. I stood in front of the locked door, frustration mounting with each unsuccessful attempt to enter the code. I checked and rechecked the numbers, but the lock remained stubbornly shut. I tried to call the owner but the number given to me was unreachable. I have also experienced a sudden change in water temperature during my shower because the boiler was not turned on. If you notice that the water is turning cold unexpectedly, it's worth checking to see if the boiler is on. You can easily find the switch - which is below the big white round container. It takes some time to get the water hot.

Average minus

We liked the fact that it was right in the center, not even a minute walking and all the restaurants are there. Very easy to find and to access. The room is big enough for 2 even 3 people and it has everything you need even if you would like to cook. I guess it is good if you are staying for a very short period.

The room needed some deep cleaning. It looked like it was cleaned only from the surface. The bed is very small for 2 persons so we had to open the sofa bed since we were 2. By doing so, we felt like the sofa bed was barely hanging and I gonna break at anytime. And because we had to move it on order to open it we found a sex toy on the floor behind it. The walls are dirty and you can see some blood stains on it. You should know that since it is in the center, it is very noisy even if you close the windows you could still hear some noise at 4 5 am. You should also know that there is a very good Indian restaurant right next to the apartment but it smells very strongly in the building. Iny opinion it an expensive stay if compared with all the things I stated.

Convenient for a Short Stay

* Location is in the heart of the old city. It's very close to main attractions and also central train station. * A well equipped kitchen which is a must for us. And the supermarket is very close. * A very clean apartment. * Although the building smells heavy curry because of the below restaurant fortunately inside of the apartment doesn't. * And the owners are nice.

Very central, easy to get into the property, the guidance regarding the key was excellent. Clean, well set out, inside. Pretty well equipped yet compact. Very good value for money

Area is quite noisy with the bars and restaurants and deliveries, but they were not really early and I am sensitive to noise. Would not put me off from booking again if I were to return to Brussels. One has to accept noise if in the centre. Would have been good to have directions from station Midi to the apartment, when we went home we used the underground and it was easy, would have been good to know that before rather than get a taxi which I think took the scenic route. Not the hosts fault. Not a complaint, could be a cherry on the cake.

Great Studio

Great fully equipped, studio apartment ,in an location that ( almost) can't be faulted..Communication with the hosts was clear, precise and helpful. The biggest recommendation we can give is that we will be hopefully booking it again.

The one snag about been in the heart of the city is so are a lot of people enjoying themselves to the early hours of the morning! If you like a good night's sleep, ear plugs are strongly recommended! Also , for those with mobility issues, be warned, for a first floor room there is two flights of narrow winding stairs to tackle

light and airy. clean linen, clean floors, comfortable bed. Great location. Milk, tea and cafe available.

The hazardous stairs, trying to lift a 19 kilo suitcase up 3 floors. Bathroom tiny, washbasin tiny with fungus along the wall. Only takes a bit of bleach to get rid of that. No where to hang wet towels. No where to store clothes. The lamp shades seriously need dusting.
