The location was perfect and we didn’t need the car whilst there. Great local pub down the road. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.
The shower door was broken (the owner did apologise for this when we arrived) so it made showering without getting water everywhere an issue and I was worried the door would fall off the whole time!

The stay was an unexpected experience being decorated in an Edwardian/ late Victorian setting . The house added character to the stay , far better than a bland featureless modern hotel chain.
Breakfast was good we had what we normally eat although more choices were available. Proper china cups. and plates.
