This has to be one of the more hospitable guest houses I’ve stayed in. It’s a cosy period cottage with plentiful ammenities and a very comfortable bed, what’s not to love? Nick and Zeb (dog) maintain a casual welcoming space and went above and beyond to help with some travel plans.
It’s all a 5min walk to the town centre and worth every penny.

Nick was the perfect Host, ensuring everything was to our liking, everything was explained clearly and everything he had prepared made us feel most comfortable and welcome. We stopped over just for one night, enabling us to visit The Hall for Cornwall to see Ross Noble. Is was a perfect location to enjoy the short walk down into the City Centre. Nick's property is full of charming character, making it far from the standard bland experience you get at a Travelodge or Premier Inn!

Nick and Zebedee were welcoming and friendly. It was a 5min stroll into town (I recommend going via the beautiful woodland stream). The house is beautiful, felt v luxurious but also practical. Tasty breakfast of croissants and orange juice - cereals and toast also available. I'll be back!
