Another case of you get what you pay for, I wish I’d spent a little more.

Location

It smelled very damp and the linoleum was peeling up from the floor in bathroom. There was a lot of hair left from the previous guest all over the bathroom, the lights didn’t work in the morning after they’d worked perfectly fine the night before. The temperature was not comfortable and we could adjust it.

I really appreciated the greeting I received on arrival and her help in quickly sorting an issue I had with the heating in my room. She couldn't have been more helpful.

Nice quick check in, staff helpful and efficient. Single room for £30 on a Saturday was very good value. Bed comfy, decent shower and everything clean and tidy.

One little gripe is there was a big crack in the sink in the shower room and some cracked tiles on the floor as well. Otherwise a decent stay.

The staff were friendly & helpful and the check-in/check-out process was easy & straightforward.

The walls were very thin (you could every word of next-door's conversation, in the early hours) & I think next time I'd definitely book an en-suite room (it's not ideal wandering through corridors in the middle of the night, looking for the toilet!)

Great little stop over

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size, and the guest house was across the road from a Lidl, so we were able to get some supplies.

We could have done with a communal room but enjoyed eating our takeaway on the wall outside 😂

Lovely welcome when I arrived from a very friendly lady. Room really clean and comfortable with everything you needed. Well located in relation to the station and supermarkets too.

My ONLY complaint was the shower changing temperature unexpectedly and therefore nearly scalding myself but otherwise a perfect stay!

I liked I had an on suit room, if I had a room with no toilet then I would not have liked it. I was going to book again for the beginning of October but there were no rooms left with there own toilet.

Getting back later in the evening parking was a bit hit & miss if some cars were parked inconsiderately

We enjoyed our stay with you and would definitely think of returning.

We received a very warm welcome. The room was spacious and the view of Truro beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the housekeeping very good with an ample supply of tea, coffee and with a chocolate on the clean towels! It is not a modern house so the decor, windows etc reflects that but that doesn't retract from it in our opinion. Parking outside was well organised and the only problems occurred if guests didn't stick to the signs.

There was no non-slip bath mat or rail to hold onto when getting in and out of the bath for a shower. The bath plug was broken so no possibility of taking a bath. Only five coat hangers which was not sufficient for both of us, staying for four nights.

Ok spot for a short stay - best with a car

It was right across the street from a large grocery shop so that was convenient. Easy check in. The small fridge and microwave in the room were convenient.

The room feels fairly tired and the mattresses could use and upgrade. The location is best with a car.
