Great location . Room was large and comfy . Clean and a lovely large walk in shower in spotless bathroom .

Bathroom was a little tired. Loose floor tile and grouting was black due to mould.

It’s not an issue for me but as I work in a similar set up in Devon I try to book through the hotels website instead of booking.com. I struggled to find the website and had to ask chat cbt to find it for me…hard to get someone to answer the calls I was making. In hind sight I realised when I checked out at 10 there is no staff there at this time so is likely practical reasons for this

The bedding and bathrooms were clean, it was a fantastic location right next to the cathedral.
It was all rather scruffy; the carpets were stained, the bathroom tiles were mouldy. The rooms weren’t serviced once during our 3 night stay. One of the rooms had no bin and when we mentioned it to the staff we were told that the bin was being used to’prop open the window’ but nothing was done about it. It was a shame, because although it was a brilliant location it all felt a bit seedy.
