Very bad night.

I had a bed and a window.

Shower and toilet is shared with loads of other guests, the room is super noisy. You hear everyone enter and leaving their room. You wake up all night, and you are destroyed especially in the morning you hear literally everyone leaving, smashing doors and keys. It was really bad. Would never go back.

The Gasthaus was located in a quiet neighborhood above the city of Trier, but less than a 10-minute drive from tourist attractions in the city center. The room was small, but had plenty of space and everything a single traveler would need. The bathrooms were very clean every time I used them. The staff I encountered were quite friendly.

The walls were quite thin as I could hear the people in other rooms around mine quite easily. However, all guests respected the specified quiet hours at night so it wasn't much of an issue. The breakfast, while delicious, filling, and served by friendly staff, was rather expensive.

It was very clean . Room basic but comfortable. Easy 30 minute bus service to Trier . Nice to be away from the city . Lovely breakfast and nice dinner on the terras in the evening . Staff friendly.

Great place to stay!

The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. I had a great time in Trier and enjoyed my stay!

It was a little bit confusing to check in and figure out where the staff were. It was also challenging for the restaurant not to have vegetarian dinner options. While the neighborhood was lovely, it was difficult to get to the Gasthaus using public transit as a solo traveler.

Very nice stay in Tarforst

The staff were very nice and helpful, the room & bed were comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities very clean. Breakfast on Sunday was amazing!

I couldn't get breakfast on Saturday (my stay was from Friday evening to Sunday morning), the bathroom facilities were very cold.

Clean, spacious, well-appointed room in a beautiful building. The staff were very kind and when I missed my train connection arranged for me to be able to self-check in when I arrived.

The corridor echoes, so I could hear noisy people walking down the hallway and keys turning in the locks for other rooms. Make sure that you have a small bag you can hang up in the communal shower with your clothes.

Nice quiet guesthouse. Take advantage of the restaurant if you stay there!

It is a nice quiet guesthouse fairly close to Trier, and very close to the university'c campus (which was of interest to me). The staff is very nice, but to experience that, you should eat at their restaurant, which I recommend.

Breakfast (at extra cost) starts at 8, which might be too late for some.

Alles in allem wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren angenehm überrascht, hatten wir doch statt eines Zimmers sogar ein kleines Appartment mit Kochecke. Das Frühstück hatten wir trotzdem bestellt und für den Preis einen wirklich ausreichende und vielseitig gedeckten Tisch vorgefunden. Kaffee wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt.

Die Höflichkeit und Begeisterung der Eigentümer ist ansteckend.

Die Freundlichkeit der Eigentümer bleibt in Erinnerung, das Zimmer war sauber, die Dusche und Toilette auf dem Gang ebenfalls. Das W-Lan lief stabil, sodass man auch etwas arbeiten konnte. Die Lage des Gasthauses ist sehr gut, man ist mit dem Bus innerhalb von 15 Minuten im Zentrum von Trier oder auch am Hauptbahnhof. Das Frühstück ist einfach, doch reicht völlig aus.

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, ein Stuhl mit Rückenlehne wäre von Vorteil.
