Disappointed!

The location is ok Staff are friendly

There are too many spiders , insects, windows need to be open but no insect protector for the rooms, insects and spiders without end. 4 star hotel, bedding have hole or repaired beddings. Towels have holes as well. 4 star hotel , wellness ( sauna) facilities open only from 3-8pm. Who will be back to the hotel at this time? Why not 24 hours available? 4 star hotel, breakfast choices are not even near some of 3 star hotels , eggs are not boiled , not soft but still liquid! Disappointed with the value. 3 nights over €650 I would expect better than this. It is completely disappointed and it is the worse 4 star hotel I have ever been so far.

The stay was OK

The breakfast was very nice and the room was big and had everything you could ask for. Nice wines from the vineyards around the hotel.

The smell was pretty bad in the reception and public areas. Smells like old smoke. We booked the Maximiner room and thought that it was going to have a balcony, which was shown on some of the pictures, but it didn't have any balcony.

A beautiful warm hotel to stay in, with nice ambiance, staff, service and surroundings…

- hospitable hosts: the proprietors manage the property themselves, and I personally think they’ve struck a fine balance between professionalism and conviviality, something quite some hotel establishments struggle to achieve… - ambiance and comfort: of my room, public areas, restaurant, and bar - award winning vineyards, belonging to the hotel proprietors: the wines are available for tasting (with a small fee), and for purchase, if requested - amiable and helpful hotel staff - restaurant menu: very tasty menu and prepared with respect for local products - surrounding areas: very calm, green and beautiful local surroundings - picnic sandwich pack: a humble nutritious pack of small sandwiches, together with fruit and a drink. Simple and fresh, and allowing me to keep myself away from rich fattening lunches on my day trips to discover Moezel territory… Being an ex-hotelier myself, I’m quite critical of hotel properties I stay in for my holidays, but the exceptional human character of this hotel and it’s staff really warmed my heart…

Haha…if I read again what I liked about the property, it’s difficult to look for what I didn’t like 😅 Probably I’d find something if I looked hard 😬, but that kind of attitude should never be the purpose…

A very nice stay in a beautiful hotel...

Very clean, well taken care off hotel with friendly owners and staff, excellent breakfast!

We were not impressed by the meals offered for diner, quantity and quality compared to the price could be better, but that is our personal opinion. Other guests seem to like it a lot, si probably a matter of taste.

Surrounded by vineyards, wishing driving distance to Trier, fabulous restaurant and wine, excellent staff. The service was wonderful from the friendly front desk with tips on parking in the city to the waiter who provided me with an English menu without having to ask, and the. Was very helpful with recommendations.

Beautiful place

It is so cosy and love the vineyards. Great place for walks. The bonus is the wellness area free of charge. Rooms are so clean and staff is amazing. I am so in love with this hotel and will be back with my friends for girls weekend.

Excellent over night stay situated in the country but close to Trier.

Beautifully presented family owned and run hotel located next to the family owned vineyard. All facilities in the room and common areas were high specification and very well maintained. Whilst there was a limited choice for dinner the food was of a very high standard with good sized portions and very palatable wines! Breakfast was also very good with hot and cold buffet.

There was nothing to dislike.

Charmant hôtel au pieds des vignes. La chambre était très spacieuse et très confortable, mention spéciale pour la salle de bains. L’espace spa/détente est très cosy. Merci au personnel qui était aux petits soins.

Qualité des chambres et du restaurant, personnel aimable

Il était stipulé sur Booking que l'hôtel était équipé d'un spa avec bain à remous, c'est une des raisons principales pour laquelle nous avons choisi cet hôtel mais finalement le spa n'était équipé que d'un sauna, donc nous avons été très déçus.
