This is a review for apartment 22, Karlsplatz 3.
One of the very best apartments we’ve stayed in. When Vienna was roasting in a near 40°C, this roomy air conditioned sanctuary saved our time in the city!
Immaculately clean and well provisioned. Super quiet, even though you get a superb view over Karlsplatz and the beautiful Karlskirche.
Very clear video instructions were sent via WhatsApp as we arrived in Vienna that morning. It wasn’t possible to leave our luggage there before arrival, but this was known in advance, so we organised a CityLocker next to the railway station.
In terms of location, there probably isn’t a more convenient one in Vienna. A major underground station was about 50m from the front door. All key attractions were easily walkable including numerous museums (the excellent and free Wien Museum being a 5 min walk away), cathedral, city high street, market and parks.
The apartment was always a huge relief to return to in the heat of the day. We never got around to using the TV, Playstation, etc., nor the roof terrace due to the temperature.
Highly recommended.
Larger mugs for tea would be good. That’s how much we’re struggling to think of something!

The location is quiet and convenient at the same time! On top of the Karlsplatz metro station (U1, U2, U4 lines meet there), views of St Charles across the street, around the corner from a Spar and a Billa, and lots of trams and busses right outside. We did not hear any noise in the bedrooms at night, and got solid sleep. There are 3 AC units which really helped in the summer heat wave. The kitchen is well appointed, including an ice cube tray in the freezer! The washing machine + drying rack worked really well for laundry -- hang up before you leave in the morning and it is dry by night. We would absolutely stay here again on our return to Vienna
