KH Apartments Stephansplatz

This property was perfect for our group if 4 adults. Plenty of room and also the location was brilliant right in the heart of Vienna.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Location was excellent just a few steps from Stephansplatz and easy wheeling of bags to the metro station. It allowed us to explore the old centre on foot and return when weary for a rest before venturing out again in this very walkable city. Everything was clean and beds comfortable. The layout of the apartment was good and had a great period feel with its high ceilings and tall windows facing the inner courtyards. It had everything we needed for our stay. There was a lift to the 4th floor as well as some original old spiral stairs for the more athletic. Communication and access instructions were clear and helpful.

Nothing. We can see why some may not like the bath with no screen to contain splashes from the shower attachment, but we were brought up in an era before dedicated showers and it was no inconvenience for us.

The stay was very pleasant. The rooms were spacious, everything was clean, and having two bathrooms was a very nice touch. The location is perfect, right in the center and very convenient for getting around.

This is not really an issue with the host or the apartment itself, but on Friday evening around 7 PM a neighbour asked us to lower the volume even though the music was not loud and we were not partying. We turned it down and left the apartment around 8 PM, but we were a bit surprised that the noise level was considered an issue.

It was so well situated close to st Stephen’s. A bit of a nightmare to find in the dark though with no directions

On arrival only two beds were made it was a three bed apartment booked to give each adult a bed. When I queried this I was told you’ll have to make it yourself. For £1100 for three nights this was a disgusting response. The window in the bathroom was wide open our entire stay with no way of closing unless you were 10 foot tall! It was freezing!! There were various things not working a light in one room the shower was made for a super skinny person. My mother got stuck! And the toilet by the front door was frightening for the midnight wee! There was no instructions regarding lights so as we arrived in the dark we had to use phones to guide us not easy with a 76 year old in tow!
