Luxury City Apartment Downtown Vienna

I liked the location and the size of the apartment. It was clean and had all necessary features.

I was disappointed about the misleading information. The picture of the outside marketplace made me believe that this will be the view. The apartment is not near this square, and the view is inside of the courtyard. Very pretty, with old style balcony galleries, but not the one that the picture makes you believe. The second and biggest disappointment was that the sauna is not included in the price of the stay. When booking this apartment I was choosing between this and another place and I decided to pay more for this one so I can use the sauna. But it was turned off, so I had to contact the host (who was unresponsive) and after several attempts he replied that I had to pay extra, and I have to go to a nearby cafe to pick up a key to turn it on. And I have to pay a deposit to use it. At no point during booking process it was mentioned that the sauna is extra. In my experience, when I booked at other properties, they stated in the description and in the welcome message that their facilities are extra cost, and they stated the cost. I did find in one place in this ad that it does say that sauna is extra, but no price is mentioned and you have to really look for that “extra” mention. The sauna is $60 per hour with a $250 deposit. The unused portion of the deposit is returned. They bill you at 30 minutes, so if you use the sauna for 31 minutes, you will be billed for a full hour. It warms up very slowly: I had it on for (almost) 90 minutes and it did not get to 80 F in that time. I another thing worth mentioning is the bathroom situation. The bathrooms have glass walls, with a cover in the midpart, but you still have to be quite comfortable with your travel group to use the toilet or shower.

The location

The water bed was really uncomfortable. And there was no bath fittings in the bathroom to keep the body wash and shampoo. We had to keep them on the floor. Also in the second bathroom there was an issue with the bath areas. The doors wouldn’t close so water would spill all over the bathroom if someone was having a shower.
