Location, size of facility

It was hot - no air conditioning. Had to leave windows wide open at night. Luckily it was cool at night

Relaxed feel, lovely to have a kitchen in the appartment and able to prepare breakfast and snacks. Close to centre and all of the attractions and U so able to navigate to Wein Hauptbahnhof to catch our very early train.

Location is great and the apartment is huge

The was not enough hot water for 4 people to take normal length bath.

The apartment is situated right in the centre of Vienna and could not be better. There are supermarkets within five minutes walk. The Opera House is also just a few minutes away.

There were however some problems, particularly a lack of ventilation in the shower room as the extractor fan was not working. It had a very unpleasant smell. The lighting was poor in the kitchen and shower room and the kitchen was not well-equipped for self catering. There were no wine glasses and a lot of the crockery was chipped. There were saucers but no cups; only one pasta bowl; no spatula. The bedding was poor quality - very lumpy pillows and the duvet covers and pillow cases were worn with broken zips. We did contact the owner and he came the following morning with an electrician to fix the lighting and the extractor fan. He brought us a bottle of wine, some glasses and replacement plates, which was appreciated. The quality of the equipment provided was really not good enough and closer monitoring of the state and contents of the apartment should have been carried out. We got the feeling that the owners were keen on saving their expense rather than providing a first class experience.
